Let Me Be Enough (dracoxreader)

Summer 2.0

Once again my parents are insisting we stay at Malfoy Manor. I really did not want to be here especially since it meant being with Malfoy again.

I haven't talked to him since I saw him with Pansy. I remembered the day I saw them, hours before he had just asked me out, then I see him with Pansy.

Being here only brought back memories and heartbreak I tried so hard to push away.

When we got to Malfoy Manor I was standing behind my parents hoping Malfoy wasn't with his parents. He was.. he made eye contact with me but I broke it off after a couple of seconds, I could still feel his stare after though.

I was staying in the same room as I did before and dreaded having to be in the room across from Draco's. I made my way to my room and started to unpack. I heard a knock on my door and went to open it.

Draco's face was the first thing I saw, we stared at each other for a couple of seconds before he started talking.

"Why are you ignoring me? We haven't talked since the holiday."

I closed my door as I felt tears starting to form, I couldn't hold them back any longer and did not want him seeing me cry over him.

"Y/N talk to me please," I heard him say through the door. Tears were going down my cheeks as I was holding back the door so he wouldn't come in. 

"Leave me alone Malfoy," I cried out. "Go bother Pansy," I yelled. I heard him stop mid-sentence and he no longer was trying to come inside. 

Days past that I spent in The Malfoy Manor and still wouldn't talk to him. Our birthday was coming up and I knew we wouldn't be spending it together, He will probably have Pansy over, and she'll be better company. I laid in bed most of the days and hardly went downstairs. 

I heard someone walk into my room and I had my back facing my door so I couldn't see who it was.  

"What did I do wrong, just please talk to me," I heard Draco say. "You don't even know what you did?!" I said raising my voice. 

"Talk to me," he said. "You and Pansy, that day during the holiday, when you asked me out, a couple of hours later I saw you and Pansy kiss!" I yelled. 

"She kissed me, I pushed her off, I would never do that to you," he said. 

"Why would you care either way though, I saw you and that Weasley twin kiss," he said 

"We didn't kiss, he only made it look like we did to teach you a lesson," I said looking down. He looked at me angered, "You're lying, I saw you two kiss," he said. 

"We didn't kiss Draco," I say crying. I watched him leave my room. Last day I had to fix our problem before our birthday, I guess every birthday will be the same as before. I went to sleep for the rest of the day, I didn't even eat.
