Second challenge

The second challenge was coming closer as days passed...

"Harry, y/n you told me you'd figured the egg out days ago, The task is tomorrow," Hermione said.

Harry nor I had solved the egg problem, we had to by today or else we weren't going to move on to the next challenge.

Cedric called us over, "Look I realise I never really thanked you properly for tipping me off about those dragons," he told us.

"Forget about it, I'm sure you would have done the same for us," Harry said. "Exactly, You know the prefects bathroom on the fifth floor?" He asks us, we both nod.

"It's not a bad place for a bath, Just take your egg and mull things over in the hot water," Cedric said. He smiled at us and walked off.

I felt arms wrap around my waist, I jumped a little to hear Fred laugh. I looked over my shoulder to kiss his lips. "Come on, we're gonna go have some fun" I whisper in his ear.

I gently drag him by his tie back into the castle and we go to my dorm for the golden egg. I grab his hand and drag him to the prefect bathroom.

I turn the water on and start taking my clothes off. Fred blushes and looks away instantly and I laugh. "Take your clothes off you dummy," I say laughing.

I get into the water and after a while he does too. I grab the egg and submerge it into the water. I put my head into the water and tell Fred to do it as well.

Come seek us where our voices sound. We cannot sing above the ground. An hour long you'll have to look, to recover what we took.

"Maybe there's Merpeople in the black lake?" Fred said. "What they took?" I thought to myself. I looked at Fred who was still blushing, I smiled and went closer to him.

"So now I have to find a way to breathe under water for an hour," I said. "I know a way," he said smirking. He leaned in to kiss me.

He grabbed ahold of my waist and pulled me closer, out kiss went from being in sync to sloppy, I put my hands around his neck as I felt his hands move upwards and downwards on my waist.

He bit my lip and just as I was about to let him enter we heard someone cough.

"Oh, uh...um... I'll wait outside," Harry said. I was bright red and let myself fall down into the water. Fred on the other hand was laughing, he lifted me from the water and handed me my clothes. We quickly put our clothes on and ran out.

I went to my dorm and studied. I found it, I was going to use the Bubble head charm. I was getting ready for bed when there was a knock on my door, I opened it to find Draco.

I walked out and asked what he wanted. He was about to start talking when Moody dragged him away.

(Draco's POV)

I was going to y/n's dorm to talk about the kiss. I saw her open her door and walk out.

"What do you want," she said. I was about to start talking when Mad Eye Moody dragged me away. I tried to get out of his hold as he walked me into Professor McGonagall's office.

I looked to see Granger and Weasley there. All of a sudden everything went black.

*Next day*

(Y/n's POV)

I couldn't help but wonder where Draco was. I found Fred and he was making bets, I go to him and give him a quick kiss before heading over to the other champions.

"Welcome to the second task, Last night something was stolen from each of our champions, A treasure of sorts, These five treasures, one for each champion, now lie on the bottom of the black lake, In order to win each champion need only find their treasure and return to the surface, Simple enough, Except for this, they will have one hour to do so and one hour only, After that they'll be on their own," Dumbledore said over the loud speakers.

We heard the fire of the cannon and I said my charm before jumping in. I watched as Harry grew gills and I started swimming. We had to go through rocks and fish and I saw Fleur get trapped.

I wanted to go help her but I had to go or my time would run out. I continue to swim when I see, Hermione, Ron, who I assume was Fleur's sister and Draco.

DRACO... I screamed. I swam faster and went to him. I saw Harry try to release Hermione but the merpeople said no. That's when Krum came and saved her. Harry looked at me as he looked at Fleurs sister, I nodded to show that he should save her.

He released Ron first and I held him while he released Fleur's sister. I handed him Ron as I swam up with Draco. As soon as we hit the surface of the water he woke up.

"Y/n?" He looked at me. I put him closer to the edge so they could help him up and went back down to help Harry. I saw he was struggling with both of them and had Merpeople after him. I grabbed ahold of Ron and Fleur's sister and swam up with them.

After a couple of seconds Harry comes up. I help him up to where everyone was. I watched as Fleur kissed both Ron and Harry's cheek as she hugged her sister.

I was freezing, that's when I felt someone wrap a towel around me.

"Thanks Malfoy," I said. "Make yourself warm as well," I said. Fred came my way and saw both Draco and I soaked. He glared at Draco and came forward to me. He held me in his arms to keep me warm.

I looked over at Malfoy to see him glaring at us.

"Attention! Attention! The winner is... Mr Diggory!, Tied in second place Miss Law and Mr Potter, either one of them would have finished first had it not been for their determination to rescue not only their own treasure but the others as well," Dumbledore said over the speakers.

Fred cheers for me as he hears I'm tied in second place. "My girlfriend could do it all," he said.

I went to my dorm to shower and change into some warmer clothes. Fred was in my bedroom waiting for me. I walked out and he came to hug me. "I never doubted you love," he said. I smiled and gave him a quick kiss.

I went to look for the trio and we made our way to Hagrid.

"So I remember, I remember when I first met you all, Biggest bunch of misfits I've ever set eyes on, always reminded me of myself a little, And here we all are, four years later," he said.

"We're still misfits," Ron said causing me to laugh a little. "Maybe, But we've all got each other, Harry and y/n of course, One of them soon to be! The
youngest! Tri-Wizard champion there's
ever been! Hooray!" Hagrid said.

I look over to Harry who's touching his scar, as if it was hurting, "Harry are you okay?" I ask. He looks up to see Barty Crouch laying in the floor.

"HAGRID!" I yell. Hagrid comes and tells us to go back to the castle, we all do as he stays there.

I go back to my dorm and process what we just saw.
