(Draco's pov)
The day came. Our birthday, our problem hadn't been fixed, what a lonely birthday this will be. I spent all morning in my room until I heard a knock on my door, I opened it to see y/n, she grabbed my hand and went running to the garden. She laid down a blanket and sat me down.
"Happy birthday Draco," she said with a smile. I looked at her confused then down to the floor.
"I thought we weren't spending today together," I said.
"I thought about it but then thought about last year, and the deal we made," she said.
(FLASHBACK)
"Well we share a birthday, let's make a deal, no matter what happens or where we are or how mad we are at each other we will always meet up on our birthday so we don't have to spend it alone," she said.
(Back to current time)
"I'm sorry, I thought about it and I know you wouldn't kiss Fred just like that, I know you're not like that," I said.
(Y/n's POV)
He just apologized, I smiled at him and nodded. "I forgive you, now Happy birthday," I said.
He smiled back at me and we spent the rest of the day being stupid, laughing, and me making him dance with me.
We went back outside since he would only dance if we were locked in my room so no one saw. It was night time and the stars were shining so bright. We laid down on the blanket I had put down earlier.
He was looking around as if he lost something, I looked at him and with a confused look asked, "Draco what are you looking for."
"Hold up I'm looking for the brightest star, but can't seem to find it," he said. He looked at me, smiled and said, "found it."
I blushed bright red and laughed at his awful flirting.
"That was so cheesy," I said laughing and pushing him away.
"Get away from me before you spread the cheesiness," I laughed.
He looked at me and just kept smiling. "What?" I asked.
He started to blush before speaking, "So y/n, you told me to ask you something again on our birthday," he said.
I blushed and looked down as I knew what he was referring to. I nodded while still looking down as I was bright red.
"You have made my life fun compared to how it used to be before I met you, I get to be another side of myself when I'm with you and it feels amazing to have a break after having to put up a front on the daily, you're the most beautiful girl I have ever met, and you mean way more to me than you can possibly think, I'd never want to do anything that will hurt and I never will and with that said, Y/n Law, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked.
I was looking down, smiling and blushing like crazy, I looked up at him and nodded. I got attacked by him giving me a massive hug, I started laughing as he attacked me since it caused both of us to fall on our backs.
He was going to back off when he stopped and looked at my eyes. We both blushed before he put his lips onto mine breaking the distance between us.
This wasn't the same type of kiss he would have done before, he filled this kiss with emotion and care. He leaned away and stared at my eyes again. He kissed the top of my forehead before getting us up and heading back inside.
We walked to our rooms and he gave me a final kiss before saying goodnight and walking into his room.
I walked into mine and immediately jumped up and down as I couldn't stop smiling and blushing. "Draco Malfoy is my boyfriend," I whispered over and over.
(Draco's POV)
I gave her a kiss before wishing her goodnight and walking into my room. I uncontrollably smiled and praised myself. "Y/n is my girlfriend," I whispered to myself.
