(Y/n's POV)

I was in my dorm when suddenly Draco walked in. He looked terrified, he pulled me into a hug, "take care of yourself," he said.

"What do you mean?" I asked. "I'm didn't want to do this, I didn't ask for this but I have to," he said.

"What are you talking about?" I asked. "Please get yourself out of the castle," he said. Before I was about to speak he pulled me into a kiss,

"Goodbye," I heard him say before he ran out.

I followed after him but lost him, after a while I started to hear explosions. I run to see where it's coming from but don't see anything, I hear screams now too.

I run to the Astronomy tower to see what's going from a high point. I get there and see Harry under the stair case. He pulls me over and motions to keep quiet.

I look up through floor boards and see... no....Draco. "What is he doing," I whisper, I ask Harry, he motions to look up. I look up and see he's pointing his wand at Dumbledore.

"Who else is here? I heard you talking," Draco said.

"I often talk aloud to myself, I find it extraordinarily useful, Have you always been to yourself, Draco?Draco, you are no assassin," Dumbledore said.

"Assassin...." I whisper to myself. "How do you know what I am? I've done things that would shock you," Draco said.

What is he doing.... this isn't him...he wouldn't do this.

" Oh, like cursing Katie Bell and hoping that in return she would bear a cursed necklace to me? Like replacing a bottle of mead with one lace with poison, Forgive me, Draco, I cannot help feel these actions are so weak that your... heart can't really have been in them," Dumbledore said.

"He trusts me, I was chosen," Draco says. He pulls up his sleeve to show the dark mark.

"I shall make it easy for you," Dumbledore said taking his wand out. "Expelliarmus!" Draco yells.

"Very good, Very good, You're not alone, There are others, How?" Dumbledore asked. "The Vanishing Cabinet in the Room of Requirement, I've been mending it," Draco said. "Let me guess, it has a sister," Dumbledore said. "A twin, In Borgin and Burkes, They form a passage," Draco said.

"Ingenious. Draco, years ago, I knew a boy who made all the wrong choices, Please let me help you," Dumbledore said.

"I don't want your help, Don't you understand? I have to do this, I have to kill you, Or he's gonna kill y/n...she's the love of my life I have to protect her, at least one of our kids parents should be alive after this," Draco said.

The...love of his life.... he's doing this to protect me... I thought to myself. I look back up to see more death eaters appear.

"Well, look what we have here, Well done, Draco," Bellatrix said.

"Good evening, Bellatrix, I think introductions are in order, don't you?" Dumbledore said.

"Love to, Albus, but I'm afraid we're on a bit of tight schedule, Do it!" Bellatrix said to Draco. "He doesn't have the stomach, Just like his father, Let me finish him in my own way," another death eater said.

"No, the Dark Lord was clear the boy has to do it, This is your moment, Draco, Do it! Go on, Draco, now!" Bellatrix said.

I was too focused on what was going on to notice Snape was with us for a short while before going up with them.

"No!" Snape said. "Severus. Please..." Dumbledore said. "Avada Kedavra," Snape said. I watched as Dumbledore's life left his body, watched as he fell back and disappeared from my view.
