It was finally time for the last challenge. I was a nervous wreck, this wasn't like the last two challenges, we knew where we all were, this maze, it gave me a bad feeling.
Before heading to the maze I ran to Fred.
"FRED!" I yelled. He looked back at me and I ran and jumped into a his arm. "Fred if I don't make it, promise me you'll try your best to be okay and move on," I said.
"Love don't talk like that, you'll make it, you'll do amazing," he said, he leaned down and kissed my lips, giving me a rush of hope.
I left his arms and walked down to the maze.
"Earlier today Professor Moody placed the tri-wizards cup deep within the maze, Only he knows its exact position, Now as Mr Diggory, Mr Potter and Miss Law tied for first position, they will be the first to enter the maze, following will be Krum, then Fleur," Dumbledore said.
I heard people cheer, yelling at least one of our names out. For the first time in my life.. I'm scared whether if I'll make it out or not.
"The first person to touch the cup will be the winner. I've instructed the staff to patrol the perimeter, if at any point should a contestant wish to withdraw from the task he or she need only send up red sparks with their wands," Dumbledore said.
Dumbledore explained how people change within the maze, "find the cup if you can, but be weary, you could just lose yourself instead," he said.
We heard the cannons go off, with that we all make our way in. I'm running through the maze, hearing things on my way to find the cup. The maze walls begin to close on me and I make the run for it.
I find Harry with Fleur unconscious, "FLEUR!" The maze starts taking her underground wrapping itself around her body, I run towards her, grab her wand I shoot up a red flare.
Harry and I make our way to the shining light we see. We run and before reaching the way the shinning light came from we see light flash.
"GET DOWN," yells Cedric. We both duck as we see Krum attacking Cedric, we watch Cedric kick Krum's wand out of his hands and go to finish him.
"CEDRIC NO!" I yell. "He's bewitched Cedric," Harry says. Cedric seems to be loosing himself as well, he resists us telling him and grabbing ahold of him.
We get him away from Krum and we all start running towards the cup. I see both of them pushing one another as they try to reach the cup first. Cedric trips and falls over, the maze wrapping itself around his body like how it did with Fleur.
"HARRY YOU CANT LEAVE HIM," I yell. Harry looks hesitant, he takes too much to my liking and I zap at the maze plant and set Cedric free. Harry comes and helps him up.
"You know for a moment there I thought you were gonna let it get me," Cedric says. "Yea me too," I told Harry.
"Go, Take it, you saved me!" Cedric tells me. I look at both of them and shake my head, "together, on three, 1...2...3..," we run and grabs the cup.
We look around and see we're not at the castle, we ported to a graveyard. Cedric asks us if we're okay and we both nod.
"It's a portkey Harry the cup is a portkey," Cedric says. "I've been here in a dream, y/n, Ced, we have to get out of here now, grab the cup, NOW!" Harry yells.
Harry yells in pain while hold his head, his scar..
"GET BACK TO THE CUP!" Harry yells. We see Wormtail and Voldemort coming, "Who are you?What do you want?" Cedric yells.
"Kill the spare," Voldemort says, Wormtail starts getting ready to kill Cedric as I jump in front of him blocking Cedric. "NO, YOU HAVE TO KILL ME FIRST," I yell.
