It was a very hot day, it was so hot I could feel my pores opening up and secreting sweat out of my body. Summer has already begun but honestly, it's like eleven months of summer and just a month of cold month which is only in the month of January.
March came with a wave of scorching heat along with the blast of fiery air. It literally feels like I've been stuck in a room filled with hair dryers.
It's that hot in the Philippines, I'm telling you.
It's just a month before we graduate and possibly, spread our wings and fly off the sky and separate with each other without knowing when we'll meet again. Memories in this school will fade away as new people and memories will replace them.
Though I also doubt the fact that everyone will leave since k-12 has started and the school has already started the program one year ago. We're also the second batch of students to attend on it after all it's free and the school has offered three courses which is HUMSS, ABM, GAS and EIM.
"Hey, we should go to garden ville after graduation"
"You're graduating? I thought you're not in the list of graduates" I teased Bool making him scowl at me.
Brix and Carl were seated on the end of the room, discussing their love for games out loud while Enard draws on his notebook. Meanwhile, Hao was having a conversation with Willmark, they look like so serious and I couldn't help but feel a bit suspicious.
"I am bish, how dare you say that?"
I was broken out of my thoughts and break my stare from Willmark to Bool's face.
"Maybe she's right and we all know she's sharp tongue" Hanie sided with me while I nodded in agreement with her.
Bool's about to retort when our classroom adviser came and shush us in silence before stating an announcement. Turns out, we'll have our final exam and it's two weeks from now, she also told us that we're going to have a seniors week which made the class erupts into cheers. Our practice for graduation starts after the final exam finished.
Soon, lessons upon lessons were conducted before we were saved by the bell. It's already lunch, me and my friends decided to eat at the school's garden where a circular table made out of stone was placed along with the seats circled on it.
I placed my lunch box and instantly, spoons went flying on my ulam and before I knew it, just a piece of lechon was left from my ulam lechong paksiw.
"What the fu-" I didn't even finish cursing when they cut me off.
"Here"
"I'm giving this to you now"
My once lonely piece of lechon was now filled to the brim with different types of ulam. I stared at them blankly as they smile foolishly.
I can only accept the food but not before glaring at them and continued to eat. There are also some students who are currently eating in this area, some were even couples and I couldn't help but look at them blankly.
"Walang forever" Bool shouted at the top of his lungs making us burst into laughter, Willmark was laughing heartily while Brix wiped his mouth from the unexpected shout from Bool.
