Since our finals for our subject creative writing was decided, a wave of students in my class came from our home after class ended. Our play is about a girl and a man whose soul changed and experience the differences between them. It's entitled "Falling in reverse" and the script is already approved by our teacher.
In the play, I acted as the Queen bee, as always and is busy memorizing the dialogues and the dance steps. My friend, Alex, made the script since she's known for her talent of writing stories.
My body's aching from going to places and attending practices as well as the numerous group works. It's unlike grade 11, I think I need to divide myself into two so that I can go to our group work and then go to someone's house to practice our play.
All in all, my week is filled to the brim that whenever I come home, I just collapsed on the couch and become an instant couch potato.
"Jamie, have they eaten?" My mom suddenly popped out of nowhere making me feel startled.
"We will after this" I pointed to my classmates who were busy taking pictures on my grandparents house that is newly built though there's still some left to do.
"Okay, just call me after you decided to eat hm?" I nodded to my mom and went outside of our house.
My classmates were hunched over their seat as they scrolled on their phone while the rest was taking pictures for the poster. I watched Alex getting angry at a couple of guys in our group, she's always angry at them though.
"Stop talking to me, I don't have any voice left" she shouted with a hoarse voice, it was probably the first time I've seen her in that state.
"I don't think we'll finish this today, maybe we won't be able to go home today then" one of our classmates joked as another glared at him then knock on a wooden table.
"Jamie! It's your turn! Go and change your clothes now!" Kaye shouted inside the other house and I just walked to my room and changed my everyday clothes to a fitted black v-neck dress.
Our leader, Michelle, just stayed here for almost an hour before she was called by her father and left. So now the decision lays to Kaye, I saw several things such as bags and hairband on the floor.
"Hey, we'll clean this after finishing this okay? My lola would definitely scold me if I didn't"
"Okay we'll do that, posed first"
I started doing poses, kaye continuously told me to look more fierce so I raised my brow and looked at the camera.
Then it was the lead characters turn, I laughed so hard after seeing Gelo's face. His body was muscular but the way he's dress was just too ridiculous. He have a pink headdress on his head and a pink t-shirt. Berna, our research leader on the other rhabd is dressed into a basketball shirt with a towel on his shoulder and a shaver in her hand.
"Jamie, trisha and Je should be practicing the dance Trisha made" I forgot about this one, the play also have elements of dancing and singing which is absolutely great if it weren't for the amount of work that is being added everytime we finished a new one.
California girls played in the background and here I am, dancing with a chair as the rest watched us. Well, this has been the busiest time of my life, honestly.
After that, my mother brought a bowl filled with rice and a bowl of adobo and pancit canton on the left. My classmates didn't even took a single plate, they just stared at it and I already knew that their acting shy and well behaved.
"Let's eat now, don't be shy" I added before the plates were already gone in just a flash and my friends whom I have in the group with held their own spoons and forks.
The practice ended in nine in the evening and all of them finally left, my head begun to ache on the other hand which irritated me.
I just took some Biogesic and slept my headache, I hope it'll end after a good night's sleep.
...
I think because of me going to all over the place, my body decides to just say that I'm tired and I need rest.
I woke up with a throbbing headache, it seems like the medicine didn't work or it's just didn't dissolve into my body.
I still went to school with a throbbing head along with a very moody and nasty personality. You can't really blame a woman for being moody, I mean they always are so yeah.
It's Friday and our teacher didn't come to our class so it means it's time for practice. Kaye brought sheets of paper with our picture on it, she's going to cut it and paste it so it can form a big poster.
"You shouldn't really cut the edges instead just glue them" I suggested when kaye suddenly retorted.
"I've already cut it, why didn't you say it earlier?" My brows furrowed and I answered.
"I didn't see, I was busy memorizing my lines" I said in a sour tone which immediately sparks a fight between us.
"Hey, hey, chill the both of you. Cool your heads, it's fine we'll help with the gluing process" Ange intervened while I just harrumphed on the side and continued my best.
Because of that, some of our group mates initiated and helped with the process. I think we're all stressed because of the numerous school activities as well as the research paper and the group works that were thrown to us.
It's seriously taxing and it's just great that I have someone to calm me. Here I am getting massaged in the head by Willmark, his hands were big and warm to my head and I honestly love the feeling of it.
"You okay now?"
"Much better" I smiled, my eyes still shut as I lay on his lap.
"Don't worry, it'll all end" I didn't hear much from him since my head's already on dreamland.
All I feel was a warm and soft touch was pressed on my forehead and I was soon out.
Notes:
• We all say bad jokes we don’t mean but there are consequences for such actions. The solution to this problem is the superstition telling you to knock on wood. By doing this, your “bad joke” won’t happen.
• The most commonly used Filipino word for grandmother is lola.
• Paracetamol Biogesic, this combination product contains 2 medications, acetaminophen and an antihistamine. Acetaminophen helps to reduce fever and/or mild to moderate pain (such as headache, backache, aches/pains due to muscle strain, cold, or flu).***
Fun fact: That happened, all of that, I remember my voice was hoarse at that time from fatigue. Jamie and Kaye did almost fight because of stress. Our stress levels were high at that time, mostly I.Anyways, I'm still stressed since I don't have the energy to do my school works and it's honestly frustrating.
I hope everyone isn't stressed today, well I hope we're at least fine foe today. Thank you everyone and have a good day! Stay safe and healthy as always okay?!
