Our Filipino subject teacher told us to memorize our written essay and to present it in front of another class (in this case one of his students) and they'll judge us based on the criteria he gave.

One thing I'm good at is memorization and I stressed myself about it. I always memorize my self made reviewer and when a quiz is about to happen the next day, I would always review before it happened.

Let's go to McDonald's after school

It happens that no teacher is here since all of the faculty teachers have a meeting which were not sure of.

Great! I'll see you then after school!

I smiled and continued to chat with him, he was telling me about his classmates and how irresponsible his group mates are. I know a lot of irresponsible group members since I've met a couple of them throughout my highschool years.

It's always like this, in a group work there's the leader who will do all the work, then there's some members who would help the leader and then there's the irresponsible and lazy ones who do nothing but skip practice or even if they are only there physically not mentally.

"Jamie! Don't just chat with your bebe, play with us!" I look over and saw Ange holding my arm as she pulled me to see a huddle of our classmates.

"Hmph! I want to talk with my bebe, what's it to you?" I raised my eyebrows while she groan out loud to me.

"Your eyes would worsen, let's just play with the others huh?"

"My eyes are already damaged, there's nothing to do about it" I smiled mockingly before she rolled her eyes and let me off.

I wore glasses since my eyesight is bad, I can't see in front of the blackboard and have trouble seeing far away objects. Because of that, I told my mom about it and guess what? Of course she scolded me and told me that I should stop reading on my phone at night, I think you already know what happens.

I didn't listen.

Besides, Willmark also have trouble in his eyesight, it's like we're wearing a couple shirt but only in glasses.

One of our close friends, Jeline, got a phone call and heard her saying dad. The minute she said that we all went to her side and shouted.

"Jeline! Tagay!"

"Shot! Shot! Shot! Shot!"

"Jeline one more time!"

She immediately ran out of the classroom while the rest of us laughed, we always do that whenever someone's in the phone.

The rest of my day continued to be boring and repetitive, one thing that happened though was when it was the time for our research subject and my friend Alex, who is also my interpreter and grammar corrector in English got her phone taken away. The worst part was that our friend Emil got his phone taken away too.

Tsk, tsk, tsk, well that's just state that the two of them are not a pro in hiding when they're in their phones.
...

There's only seven of us in our circle of friends and now, we have added two members. Seriously, there's a lot of things that happened in the past month and my lutang friend didn't even knew she was the catalyst of an almost separation.

Either way, all of us are finally settled but our minds are not, were currently facing mine and georgia's PC. We need to finish tomorrow's e-tech assignment and we don't really know what we're doing. Georgia's really good when it comes to computer and because of that, we're sitting in my house as we watch her fiddle with the pc.

"Go georgia! You can do it!" I shouted as I munched on my popcorn.

"He! You all should be the one doing this! I've already finished mine!" She bitterly said and glared to us before turning her back to finish her work.

"We're stupid when it comes to those things" Espe said and we nodded at her, georgia shook her head in disbelief before grunting once more.

I heard the familiar sound of motorcycle, placed the bowl if popcorn on the side then stood up and ran off outside. He's here, I waited till he finished parking his motorcycle and then held his hand instantly.

"Walang forever Jamie, remember that" Emil shouted making everyone laughed.

"There is, maybe in your relationships there isn't" then I smirked in the end, my grin got wider when I heard Willmark laughing beside me.

"Ohhh!"

The crowd went oh! and he went ow! Take that Emil! How dare you say that in front of my boyfriend, I glared at him and he counterattacked.

"The world is a big Quiapo, there's a lot of snatchers" he flipped his imaginary long hair and put his hand on his waist before looking down on me.

Ha! This bish really thinks that his bones are strong enough to withhold a beating huh? I was about to start a cat fight with him when Ange suddenly announced that georgia finally finished our assignments.

"Georgia! Thank you very much!"

"I love you Georgia!" Alex said while she was pushed in the corner by georgia with a disgusting expression on her face.

"Eww! I only like guys, duh?!"

After that, the rest of them was about to leave my home when Willmark suddenly said something out loud.

"I only belong to Jamie, so no Emil, the two of us have zero chance to begin with"

I burst into a fit of giggles and hear my friends laughing at us, even Emil said that it was just an inside joke on our circle of friends. My heart went aw! at his words, besides, he was too serious about our joke earlier though I was serious about getting into a cat fight with Emil.

Anyway, life continues and our relationship begun to lengthen as well as our patience and understanding to each other.

• Lutang literally means floating but it can be the expression for your mind's travelling and that you are absentminded.

• No Other Woman is a 2011 Filipino romantic drama film starring Anne Curtis, Derek Ramsay, and Cristine Reyes and it deals about cheating.

Fun fact: All of those happened though not in just a day, Emil low-key wants to get Willmark hahaha and yes, I am always lutang. Always.
