My head hurts just from seeing the immature high school students in front of me as well as hearing them chattering non stop as if they were on a marathon on whose mouth would last.

I'm currently teaching a bunch of students here in VMNHS along with Ange and Kaye, my eyes couldn't stop twitching from looking at the nonchalant students as they acted as if we're non-existent.

Some of them just treat us like air or is just plain rude which I absolutely hate but I mean not all of them are bad. It's just that the troublesome fellows tend to stick on our brain rather than the good ones.

I thought that my senior high experience couldn't get any worse, well here I am, just got slapped in the face by reality.

Freaking great.

You might be wondering why I'm teaching here even though I'm still unsure of what I'll be in the near future, well, let's go back to a week prior.

Midterms just started and then we got an awful announcement, we would be subjected to immersion for two weeks to help us experience becoming a teacher of some sort since it's related to our course.

We were asked where we want to experience work for two weeks and after a lot of deliberation from the head immersion teacher from HUMSS, it's decided that we will be thrown to the dungeon- I mean to the place where there's only just some steps away from our building, VMNHS.

Heh.

"Argh! Why are we thrown to Vicente? I thought we'll be the one looking for places to do immersion?" I groaned out loud while the rest of my friends nodded.

"How about the other class? I think all of us were thrown into Vicente while the rest were given freedom to choose, tch!" Kaye suddenly said and we looked at her when she explained. "I heard from martin (her boyfriend) that they were asked where they want to do immersion and those who didn't find one will be go to Vicente"

"That's not right, I think that she's a bit too bias in doing this" I wanted to retort and say what's on my mind but stopped myself.

I got told by Willmark that my mouth is too sharp and that I need to smoothen it out a little or else I'll hurt someone. I know but it's hard, it's like my mouth ran before my brain could already pull the trigger.

Soon, we went home and I told Willmark my opinions of our teacher's decision. He did agree to me and told me to take care of myself since there would be times where he couldn't drive me back home.

"Do your best and make sure that you won't get too angry okay? Promise me that if you did, you'll try to calm yourself hm?"

I nodded like a pecking chick as he kissed my head, after that day where I took the initiative to kiss him he would sometimes kiss my head which I found super adorable and sweet. Though I still feel a bit embarrassed, I slowly got used to it and loved every moment of him doing that.

After we talked about simple things circling our life and our future plans, the outside suddenly lost it's light and the moon became brighter against the dark sky.

"Be careful of driving!" I waved and see him off before turning back when I notice a black cat in front of me.

Surely it won't cause bad luck right? Yep, it won't, it's just a superstition.

...

Now, a week later and midterms have finally ended, here we are facing our most beloved school. We all lined up this early in the morning, finally, our immersion teacher finally arrived and divided us into three.

Me, Ange, Kaye and five others along with our new transferee this semester was put into the physical education faculty, just in the corner of the gymnasium.

When we got there, the rest of us looked in wonder. What would we do in here? What would happen in the next two weeks? Would we survive- of course we would but I think my patience would definitely be tested in here.

Which is now happening, like right in this moment and I know I'm about to snap-

"Ha? Hakdog?"

"Ha? Hinayupak?"

Let's faced it, I snapped in anger, I just knew that I would never, ever be that cool headed patient adult in front of this troublesome students.

"Jamie!" Ange hissed at me but I dare the student who just blatantly showed his rudeness to stare at me.

"Okay let's finish this report class! Be quiet please!" Kaye interjected and quickly arranged the manila papers and plastered it into the black board.

I on the other hand had an expression which resembles a person who lost some money. I just sat on the back and observed them as per what the teachers that manage us said.

Thankfully the class finished and now we're off to another class and we're just in time to know that they'll be practicing their performance in the school's court.

Classes ended and we were soon collecting our things and letting the main teacher give signature for our attendance sheet.

The whole week was filled with nothing but the familiar face of students with their topics ranging from kpop to assignments then group works to their crushes. For us, we did the same thing, we teach them, we watched them then we observed them. Basically we're like babysitters watching half child and half adults hopping on their seat like little children.

Well, it was pure torture, I even have some students throwing paper balls to us, some even break their chairs in front of us in short, their being possessed by a spirit for sure.

But there's also some good and well behaved kids, some even took pictures with us and some chatted with us. It was a roller coaster ride and I'm not sure if I wanted to experience that in the future.

Nah.

Notes:

Crossing paths with a black cat is a bad omen and the way to shirk catastrophe is to immediately go back to the house and postpone your plan or errand for the day.
• In Philippines, it's a part of a memeable phrase, "Ha? Hakdog", usually said in a sarcastic way especially fired at someone who doesn't understand or hear what you've said.
Hinayupak is another Tagalog vulgar word, referring to a person acting like an animal, which has as its root the word hayop, which means "animal".

Fun fact: Yes we did immersion and yes that did happen to Jamie, let's just say that the students that they handled was very um... possessed hahaha. Mine's good since I was just inside of the T.L.E faculty and isn't really teaching but merely observing. The teacher that handled me was very, very nice and a great teacher. She's the mother of my late classmate and my friend too.

Anyways, I hope you have a great day everyone! I think what Jamie's experiencing will be my future, ha. I'm already tired by just reading it. Well, stay safe and healthy as always okay?
