June 1st

Brambletyde, Squaw Island

Jackie's car pulled up outside the house she had just purchased. She decided to come here with only Bobby. Clint was going sailing with the children, so she thought Bobby only appropriate.

When she entered, she remembered everything. Obviously nobody had lived in it since she and Jack. As it was the same furniture that she and Jack had that was inside. She went into the living room. Jack's ashtray was still on the coffee table. "I'm surprised that nobody took it as souvenir" Jackie glanced at Bobby as she delicately picked it up.

Bobby laughed. "So how are you planning to decorate this house?" Bobby asked. Jackie looked around. "I'll have it similar to the house we have on the Compound. Make a few changes. But the baby's room will be the same way I'll have their room at 1040. I've managed to get a room that I was going to use as a nanny's bedroom but I decided to make it the baby's" Jackie explained.

Bobby understood. "I'm glad that you've came back here. It's ideal and full of privacy" Bobby said, wrapping an arm around his sister in law. She rested her head on his shoulder and they embraced. "I plam to spend summers here, get some privacy. I'll still go to Hyannis Port for family things" Jackie explained.

She told Bobby of the plan she had in her mind. She wanted to lead a private life while preserving her husband's legacy at the same time. There would be a Presidential library and memorials acorss the country. Maybe the world. But because of his love for reading there would be plenty of book and magazine articles published about him and his life.

Bobby liked what Jackie had in mind. And Jackie thought it was perfect. "I will have it all accomplishedn before I die" Jackie stated. She made a promise to Jack, and even though she missed him more and more every day, she didn't want to die until she had done everything she had promised.
