Heaven
Jackie looked down at her daughter. "He went a walk. I'm sure you'll be able to find him" Jackie smiled, before kissing her daughter. Ciara nodded before going to the door. "You'll all be here when I get back?" Ciara asked. They all nodded. "Of course we will" John said before Ciara dashed out into the sun.
Closing the door behind her, she ran around to the back of the mansion and headed down to the waterfront. She knew of her father's love for the sea, so she suspected he would be there.
"Dad?" Ciara called as she walked fast along the shoreline. The water came up to her feet as Ciara continued to call out for her father. "Dad?!" Ciara called getting louder. She stopped and looked out to the sea. Looking around again and again, she couldn't see her father at all. "Dad?" Ciara called out a final time. Except in a quiet voice full of disappointment, as she unsuccessfully didn't find him.
"Dad? Where are you?" Ciara whispered. She let out another few tears. "Dad. Please come. I want to meet you. I want to see the real you, the real dad" Ciara whispered, a few more tears slipping out.
She looked down at her feet. A wave came gliding up and soaked her feet. Continuing to look down at the ground she whispered: "Please dad. Please come".
She stood silently for several minutes before she heard: "Ciara!".
The voice was unfamiliar but it was slightly. Slowly Ciara turned around. At the edge of the lawn, bordering the beach, stood a man. He was wearing some grey slacks and his body was covered by a heavy black jacket. He smiled radiantly. "Hey Ciara!" He called down to her. "Dad?" Ciara whispered. She knew he would never hear her but he nodded.
"Dad" Ciara gasped silently. She broke out into a massive grin and sprinted towards him. "Dad!" Ciara cried as he swept her off her feet and they embraced tightly. When they finally broke apart, Ciara looked up into her dad's blue eyes. They resembled the ocean greatly.
"I've finally met my little girl. After all of this waiting" Jack smiled taking his daughter's hands. She grinned up at him, tears once again swelling up inside. "My father is finally here. Finally" Ciara laughed as she looked up to the sky. Together they embraced once again. Ciara then heard her father whisper: "Your mother raised you beautifully".
Ciara broke away from her father and giggled. "She always spoke of you. I couldn't wait until I met you finally. In my opinion, Clint was a good stepfather, but I was glad that mum never married him" Ciara joked. Jack laughed before taking his daughter's left hand.
"Well?" He asked. Ciara was confused. "What?".
Jack looked at the house. "Shall the five of us start our new life?" He asked. Ciara gripped her father's hand. Just like she had always wanted to. "Yes dad" Ciara grinned. "Yes".
