The moment Zetsu appeared in the middle of the summit chamber, every shinobi in the room reached for a weapon.

I was already moving before anyone else.

My hand closed around the hilt of my sword.

"What are you doing here?" I demanded.

Zetsu grinned.

"Guess what? Sasuke Uchiha snuck into the summit."

The room exploded.

The Raikage surged to his feet.

The bodyguards moved.

Weapons were drawn.

Orders were shouted.

And beneath it all, I felt it.

A familiar chakra.

Dark.

Angry.

Broken.

Sasuke.

My heart sank.

He was really here.

The Raikage and his guards immediately moved to intercept Taka.

Gaara and his siblings volunteered to help search.

Naturally, I went with them.

I activated my Sharingan and stretched out my senses.

The world became sharper.

Every heartbeat.

Every movement.

Every chakra signature.

We moved quickly through the fortress.

Snow drifted through broken windows.
