TP POV:
Taehyung slowly opened his eyes as the sun rose to its full shine. The moment he opened his eyes, he saw the face of his twin. Jeongguk was still soundly asleep as his chest rose and fell at a humble pace. Taehyung noticed the muscular arms wrapped around his petit waist tightly. Immobilizing him completely.
Though the silver angel didn't mind at all. He was enjoying the view of the raven's ironically angelic face as it glowed in the soft dimmed sunlight that illuminated his dark curtains. The angel found himself scanning his twin's face once more after eons. He had forgotten how amazing it felt to wake up in the raven's arms. How wholesome it felt to see him in such peace.
You see, Jeongguk and Taehyung were very close to each other from the very beginning of their creation. Jeongguk was created only minutes after Taehyung. Thus earning them the title of twins. It was the first time ever since two angels were created at almost the same time. That is why their elder archangels thought it wise to keep the set of twins together in everything.
And that benefited the two greatly. Even as babies, the two were always stuck to the hip and would cry every instant they were separated. It seemed that the twins had a strong connection to each other to the point that they would seek the presence of each other even unconsciously. So no one ever dared to set them apart.
They grew up joint to the hip. Sharing everything they had with themselves. Though only themselves. They shared their bed, food, skills, everything. The twins loved each other unconditionally. Usually, the other angels would fight over things like their ranks or powers. That was common. But Taehyung and Jeongguk fought over who loved each other more. That was their normal.
And obviously, some of the other angels didn't see their over-the-top loving relationship as the norm, which caused more misunderstandings and arguments. But they didn't care. Their love for each other still stayed strong.
As they started to grow up and tried to trigger their abilities, it was found that Jeongguk had the ability to pull out other's desires, which naturally turned him into everyone's favorite. The mischievous, handsome, and desired youngest archangel.
And soon this desired twin became more muscular and more endearing, his strength became unparalleled to the other archangels, though he never fought Amenadiel who was named the greatest worrier of all of silver city, it was still estimated that he was very close or possibly the same in strength to him if not more.
And whilst everyone was praising Jeongguk for the very existence of him being so perfect, it came to light that Taehyung had no powers. Or so they thought since he didn't portray any signs of ability. And as eons flew by, Taehyung started to look the exact opposite of his twin. He was petit and far too pretty than any other angel ever in existence. And apparently, he was powerless. Thus he was the perfect target. That is if he wasn't protected by the assumed one of the most powerful archangels in silver city. Jeongguk had grown very protective over his twin once he found out that his beloved darling was defenseless at that time.
No matter how many flatteries they washed over him, Jeongguk's first priority was always will be Taehyung. And as the wise worrier, he was, Jeongguk knew he couldn't always be there for his twin. Since he was called out for missions more often than not.
Thus he trained the silver-haired as if it was the last thing he would ever do. Taehyung was fully focused on what Jeongguk would teach him. And after years of training to the bone, Jeongguk had created another powerful worrier ever to be standing in heaven. Taehyung's efforts and hard work finally paid off the day he proved to everyone that his war ethics were no less than Jeongguk and Amenadiel himself.
Though Taehyung didn't look any different than he did before, he was now someone nobody would want to mess with. Everything was perfect for the twins as they continued on with their daily affairs. Though Taehyung refused to go on missions to earth, he was still training by himself when Jeongguk wasn't around.
But that all changed the day Jeongguk waged the rebellion which Taehyung never found out the cause of. The raven was cast out soon after his failed rebellion against their father. And just like that, Taehyung was stripped away from his twin for eons, unable to understand why it had to happen in the first place. Staying within silver city, miserable and alone.
A sigh left the angel's lips as he reminisced over their past. He was so lost in thought that he didn't realize when the raven woke up. He only got out of his daze when Jeongguk nuzzled his face closer to his neck. The devil inhaled his twin's scent and sighed in content before pulling him closer if it was even possible at this point.
A hum of appreciation left his chapped lips once he felt the angel's slender fingers carding through his hair. He was nuzzling his nose on the junction of the silver-head's shoulder and neck when he heard Taehyung speak. "Are you okay now Ggu?" The angel asked softly, trying to handle the situation delicately. Because he understood how shaken Jeongguk would be if he thought of himself as the cause of the harm of an innocent man.
Jeongguk appreciated his efforts and his was even elevated slightly by the new cute nickname. But he was still angry and upset with himself to be fully happy or in peace. He was upset to the point he couldn't even find it in himself to talk. So he shook his head in the negative, his raven locks brushing against the angel's chin.
Taehyung sighed again, this time in sympathy. He didn't want Jeongguk to continue to feel this way. "Hey, tell you what, why don't you and I go out today. Anywhere you want to go. It's been so long since we went somewhere just the two of us. Hmm?" The angel hopefully suggested.
And though Jeongguk wasn't in the mood to go anywhere, he would much rather stay in bed and brood over his sadness, but he couldn't ever say no to Taehyung. He just never could resist the older. so he just slowly nodded in approval before sinking further into the sheets. His bulky arms still refusing to let go of the petit waist.
"Don't worry okay? We will visit detective Namjoon soon." The other soothed, his slender fingers still carding through those raven locks.
Jeongguk stiffened at the mention of the detective's name. Taehyung instantly pulled him closer to his chest, practically cradling the younger. "Hey, it's okay love. it's going to be okay Ggu" the angel softly spoke as nicknames sweetly rushed from his lips.
Jeongguk just laid in the warm embrace and tried to get his mind together. Usually, he would push his insecurities to the back of his mind and try to steel his nerves. But Taehyung was spoiling him.
Jeongguk had turned greedy for his twin's attention and affection. Again. And he knew that there was no getting out of it this time. He had gotten the taste of it again and he wasn't letting go of it any time soon, or possibly ever.
Taehyung was going to stay with Jeongguk whether he liked it or not. The devil had way more tricks up his sleeves than he let on.
While Taehyung thought of his feelings. What he wanted to do and what he was going through at the moment.
And what he realized, was that he loved this feeling. And having to think of leaving this someday made him dread. If it was up to him, the angel wasn't leaving the devil's side that easily.
