TP POV:

It's been almost a month since Jeongguk returned to hell. Taehyung looked colder and colder as the days passed. But Jennie understood, it was Taehyung's defense mechanism against pain and sorrow.

They were currently in Peru. Looking through the ancient libraries to find anything about their fallen situation.

They were being chased relentlessly for the past month. And Taehyung knew that this will go on for a long time if he can't find a solution. And Jeongguk already denied him access to hell. Otherwise, he would've long been down there with Azrael's help.

A sigh left the silver-head's lips when he closed yet another thick book that was filled with ancient history. This was the fifth book he had finished that night. He looked beside him to see Jennie still buried between piles and piles of books.

Taehyung was really grateful to her for sticking by his side. She was a great support. Taehyung never would have imagined that a demon could become so dear to him.

"Found anything?" Jennie asked with her sleep-deprived voice. Taehyung shaking his head negativity. The demon sighed as she leaned her forehead against the table. Taehyung patted her back silently for comfort.

Everything was a mess.

The angel sighed once more as he stood up to get another book. He walked through the high shelves looking at the titles. His eyes searching for anything that connected to the fallen in the silent library.

"What are you looking for my dear?" The sudden voice of an old man made Taehyung jolt up in fright. He swiftly turned around to look at the old man in surprise. Taehyung thought they were the only ones left in the library. And what are the odds that he'd meet a man that spoke Korean in Peru?

"I um- I was looking for some books on angels and prophecies on them. Or maybe something about the fallen" the silver angel answered the man.

"Ah, I see. I know where a few of them are in the back. Let me go get them for you" the small old man smiled at him sweetly. Taehyung offered him one as well, Taehyung hadn't smiled in so long that it looked kind of awkward on his lips.

He insisted on following him so he doesn't cause any inconvenience to the poor man. Taehyung was escorted to the back of the library where the books looked just as ancient as the library itself. He stared at them with an awestruck face as he gently touched the worn-out back covers.

"Here it is" he heard the old man say. When he turned to look at him, the man was holding a book that was at least ten thousand pages long. The book had a worn-out brown cover with golden lines. It had no title.

Taehyung smiled and took the book from the man. He stared at the golden pattern marks on the cover. It was old but it looked so enchanting. It was heavy though. The angel looked up again to thank the man for going through the trouble. But as he looked ahead he saw that the old man was gone. Taehyung with furrowed eyebrows looked around to see if he could find the man again but alas, it was like he vanished into thin air.

The angel sighed and walked back to the table he left Jennie in. "Hey, where were you?" Maze asked as he approached their table. She was still looking through the book he last saw her with. "I met a nice man who guided me to the back shelves and found me this book" the angel spoke before gesturing to the heavy book in his hands.

He sat down and placed the book in between them since Jennie couldn't find anything relevant in the book she was reading, it was all folklore.

Taehyung gently opened the book and started skimming through the pages. He had to be extra careful since the pages could fall apart if he used too much force.
