Keith leaned up against the window of Lance's car, his eyes having trouble staying open. It was about nine o'clock on a Friday afternoon. It was thirty minutes after Lance's football game, that he won. Lance and Keith were on their way to Allura's house for the sleepover that Keith wasn't too excited for. Keith wasn't really the type of person who enjoyed sleepovers. He enjoyed them when it was just him and Pidge. They always got to nerd out and watch stupid movies, eating a ridiculous amount of candy. Keith had never really been to a sleepover with anyone other then Pidge and Lance. It was different with those two because he was close to them. He just started to get to know the other.

"You're tired, aren't you? You were falling asleep all fourth hour," Lance chuckled. It was kind of funny watching Keith's head bob from side to side as he tried to stay awake. Lance felt bad for the boy, but it was still enjoyable to watch.

Keith nodded. "I was up all night doing a stupid packet for math. I didn't help that I drank a bunch of coffee to keep me from falling asleep so I was up till like four," Keith mumbled. He usually didn't care about his grades, so that packet would have remained unfinished. Keith made a deal with Shiro that if he kept his grades up then he wouldn't say a word to Veronica. The things Keith did for Lance.

"You should have called me."

Keith rose an eyebrow and turned to Lance. "Why would I wake you up because I'm doing homework?"

Lance chuckled a little. Keith had a pretty good point. "Because I could have kept you company...besides, there was something I was thinking about last night," Lance spoke nervously. He couldn't believe he was about to say what he was going to say. It was scary, really fucking scary. He knew he had nothing to be scared of because it was just Keith, but saying things like this was never easy. It made Lance anxious, but he knew it was all going to be okay. He just had to gather up the confidence to say what he needed to say. There should be no worries whatsoever, but there was.

"What is it?"

Lance kept telling himself he could do this. He could say what he needed to say. There was no reason to be scared. Everything was going to work out. Lance took a deep breath and another. He gripped the steering wheel tightly. Lance knew he could do this. His mother rose him to be strong, fearless. Lance was strong and fearless, he knew he was. Everybody had their fears and worries. You can't blame him for hesitating. This was a huge thing for Lance, bigger then anything he's ever done. The words were burning at the tip of his tongue. Fear building it's way up the back of his throat. His mouth start to get dry as the anxiety got worse and worse. He could do this. He had to. Lance pushed these words to back of his head for long enough. It was time he said it, time he admitted what he needed to admit. The words were long over due. They should have been said a long time ago. There was nothing holding him back except himself.

"I'm bisexual."

Keith's eyes went wide, staring at Lance. He knew. He finally knew his sexuality. Keith bit his lip, a smile making it's way on his face. Lance had fought with himself for so long. He had broken apart so many times. Keith was happy for him. He was happy the battle was finally over. He was happy Lance could finally be himself. Lance deserved to be happy with who he was. Who Lance was is amazing. He didn't have to hide himself from others anymore. Lance could finally be happy with who he was. That's all Keith wanted. That's all he ever wanted. He wanted Lance to accept himself, and now that he did Keith was more then happy.

Keith noticed they were parked outside of a huge house, probably meaning they arrived. He quickly unbuckled himself and reach over to hug Lance. Lance froze up, not expecting a hug. "I'm so fucking proud of you," he whispered into Lance's neck.

Lance smiled, hugging Keith back. "Thank you for staying by my side and being patient with me. You don't know how much you've helped me through this." Lance was being completely honest. He was so grateful that he had Keith. If he didn't have Keith then figuring himself out would've been a lot more difficult. Keith kept him steady and sane, he helped Lance through more then he could even know.
