Keith curiously walked into the boys locker room, a place he didn't want to be at all. The bright white lights washed out not only his face but the entire room. The white walls did the old rusty, blue lockers no justice. The wooden benches looked sad and tired, littered with teenagers clothes along with the floor. It smelled like boy in that locker room, a smell not many people enjoyed. The room itself triggered Keith's PTSD. Everything from the creaky bathroom doors to the white tile made Keith's skin crawl with anxiety.

If you were wondering why in the world Keith would put himself in this situation, it was because of Lance. Surprise right? Keith and Lance planned on going home together today, but Lance conveniently forgot about football practice. Of course, Lance being the hard headed jock he is insisted on still going. Even after Keith sent him several risky texts in attempt to convince him to skip practice, Lance still said no. To compromise, Lance just suggested that he waited at school for him till he got done. Keith objected to the idea at first because who wants to stay at school longer than they have too? Eventually Keith caved, saying no to Lance was nearly impossible for him. The Arizona weather was becoming too cold to be considered enjoyable, which is surprising. Keith would be wandering around the school if it wasn't for security guards and teachers. In conclusion, he was stuck in the locker room. Keith was just glad Lance's practice was close to being over because he just wanted to sleep. Whether Lance liked it or not, Keith was taking a nap at his house.

Keith sighed, walking around the room timidly. He looked around a little for Lance's backpack, figuring he should just sit there for the time being. After searching for a minute more he finally found Lance's navy blue bag sitting on the floor against the lockers. Keith sat on the floor next to the youngers backpack. It you asked him why he sat on the cold, unwashed floor, the answer was because those benches were uncomfortable as fuck. He'd rather lean against the locker with his legs crossed instead of sitting hunched over for another thirty or so minutes. Keith pulled out his phone with nothing else to do.

The room was silent, creepily silent. Keith didn't mind it much, but he found the silence to be quite alarming. It put him on edge being in a completely quiet room. He was alert and quick to react to any sound that he heard. All he could hear was the sound of the stripe lights above buzzing with struggle to stay on. The room was freezing cold on top of it all. Keith was just lucky he was wearing Lance's hoodie to keep him warm.

Keith jumped when the sound of the heavy metal door open with a click. Keith stared at the short hall leading to the door. He couldn't see around the corner, so he desperately gazed at the hallway with anxiety. The door could be heard creaking before slamming shut. Keith's adrenaline began to pump through his body. This whole scene was filling Keith with nerves, it felt too off. Maybe even familiar. The heavy footsteps that could be heard next gave the teenager chills. Keith began to panic. He hoped it would just be a team mate coming into the room to get something, that made sense. Keith just couldn't help the fact that he felt unsafe.

"This set up is kind of familiar, don't you think? Keith..?" Keith's body froze up, knowing that voice. He watched as James Griffin turned the corner, a smirk held high on his face. James leaned against the brick wall, eyeing Keith up and down. He chuckled a little at Keith's scared expression. To James, Keith was all bark, no bite. He acted so tough and unbothered, but in reality he was a timid little boy. That's all he'd ever be to James. It had always been funny to him, ever since they were kids. James loved to fuck with Keith. Keith was always so unfazed by it that it just made James want to do it more, so he did. Timid wasn't even the start to what Keith was, he was so desperate it was pitiful. Desperate for love and affection, to be cared for and touched. That's why it was so easy to make Keith do whatever James said.
