"Keith," Lance cooed, pressing kisses into Keith's jawline.

Keith's eyes slowly fluttered open, long black eyelashes opening to reveal indigo orbs. His eyes took a second to focus, seeing Lance hovering over him. He was confused for a second before remembering he was at Lance's house. "What time is it?" Keith asked, a yawn escaping his lips. He noticed the sunlight pouring in through the cracks between the blinds, showing that it was indeed day time.

"Eight in the morning," Lance whispered, pressing more kisses into Keith's skin.

Keith whined a little, not wanting to be up so early. He would never wake up at this time on his own because to Keith it was way too early. Keith would rather sleep the day away, not wanting to leave the comfort of Lance's bed. "Ten more minutes," Keith whined, rolling on to his side. He snuggled his face into the sheets, ready to pass out again.

More sleep would be achievable if he wasn't with Lance. The younger pouted a little before getting on top of Keith. He kissed all over Keith's cheek, jawline, and neck. Keith moaned in objection, but gladly accepted the feeling of kisses. "Come on, Clem. It's Christmas," Lance spoke like a child. He kissed over Keith's closed eye, and on his forehead, not letting up anytime soon. Lance would drag Keith out of bed if he had too, there was no way in hell Lance was letting him sleep through Christmas. He knew his boyfriend would rather spend the day sleeping, but that honestly sucked for him. "It's Christmas. It's Christmas. It's Christmas. It's Christmas," Lance chanted over and over, not letting up.

Keith sighed, realizing his hopes of spending Christmas in bed were ruined. He rolled on to his back, tired eyes looking up at Lance. Lance smiled down at Keith, admired how cute he looks when he's just waking up. Keith stretched his arms above his head, humming at the feeling. He looked up at his boyfriends goofy smile, wondering how he could have so much energy this early in the morning. Keith let out a giggle, thinking about how handsome he was. As much as Keith wanted to be mad, he couldn't find it in him. Lance just looked way to happy to be mad at him. Keith wouldn't ever want to take that happiness away from him. Even if it was eight in the morning and Keith wanted to go back sleep. Something about that crooked smile made Keith so joyful.

"Merry Christmas," Keith whispered with a soft smile. He brought his hand up to rub his tired eyes, attempting to wake himself up further. Usually Keith would have never said those words first, but Lance's smile was urging him to be cheerful that morning.

Lance leaned down, capturing Keith's lips in a soft kiss. Keith smiled against his boyfriends lips, arms wrapping around the youngers neck. Lance chuckled before pulling away. "Merry Christmas, baby," he mumbled back. Lance was honestly expecting Keith to be a grouch on Christmas morning, but he was pleasantly surprised to see the older smiling. Usually Keith would be impossible to get out of bed, but that didn't seem like issue today. Lance was relieved that Keith was already in a good mood, hoping that carried out through the rest of the day. "Let's go open presents."

Keith giggled a little. Lance was truly a child on Christmas morning, bouncing off the walls to open gifts and eat sweets. Keith hummed and nodded. He dropped his hands from Lance's neck and sat up a little. The second Lance saw Keith nod he jumped out of bed and scurried to put a shirt on. Keith sat in the bed for minute, wishing he could sleep just a little bit longer. Lance pulled an old t-shirt over his head before running to his boyfriends side. He knew it always took Keith a few minutes to actually get out of bed, but Lance was far more impatient. He was excited for Christmas, what could he say? But what he most excited for was to see Keith's reaction to his gift. Instead of giving Keith a second, Lance scooped him up, taking Keith of guard.

"Lance!" Keith yelped, his arms wrapping around Lance's neck in hopes not to fall. Lance began to walk out of his room, carrying Keith bridal style out the door. Keith threw his head back and laughed at how impatient his boyfriend was so early in the morning. Lance smiled at the sound of his boyfriends laugh, thinking how cute it was. He carefully carried Keith down the hall and down the stairs. Keith clung on to Lance for dear life, not wanting to be dropped down a flight of stairs. When the reached the bottom of the stairs Lance let Keith to feet. Keith giggled and shook his head. His boyfriend was a literal child.
