Keith pushed his front door open, dragging Lance inside. Lance chuckled, almost tripping on the door mat. Keith looked around a little, not seeing his brother or Adam in the living room. Lance set Kosmo down on the floor before slipping off his shoes. Keith curiously walked into the kitchen in search for Shiro. After not seeing them anywhere he returned to Lance. Kosmo ran to Keith's side, standing in between his legs. Keith looked down at the puppy and laughed. The lights in the house were on, even the Christmas tree was lit up. The house was warm and food was cooking on the stove. Both of their shoes were still at the front door, signalling that they were home. So where were they? There was no way the two were asleep right now, it was only five o'clock. The house was silent for the most part, which made Keith even more curious.

"We're home!" Keith called through the house. Kosmo barked, looking up at Keith. He couldn't help but throw his head back in laughter at how cute that was.

Lance chuckled. "I think he wants to be like you when he's older," he joked. Lance moved over to the living room, sitting on the floor. He patted the floor like drums, gaining Kosmo's attentions. Kosmo ran to Lance in an excited manner. Lance ruffled Kosmo's fur before teasing him. "Do you like Keith better then me?" Lance asked with a frown. Kosmo bit on to Lance's finger growling a little. Lance knew that was Kosmo's way of saying he wanted to play, so he gave into it. He tugged his hand back before lightly hitting the floor beneath Kosmo's paws. Kosmo went to bite at Lance's hand but he quickly moved it away. Lance laughed as Kosmo bent down, getting in position to pounce.

"He is my dog," Keith giggled.

There was a loud thump that came from upstairs, gaining both boys attention. They turned to look at ceiling, then towards each other. Seconds later Shiro came running down the stairs. His hair was all ruffled up, going in every direction. He had a wrinkled gray t-shirt on and lossy thrown on black sweatpants. His cheeks were lightly flushed with red, sweat dripping from his cheek. The look on his face told Keith everything he needed to know. He didn't have to ask a single damn question.

Keith gripped the bridge of his nose. Shiro opened his mouth to say something but Keith stopped him as quickly as possible. "Nope! I don't even want to know," Keith said with a gag. Lance chuckled a little at the two, but stayed out it.

Shiro was going to say something snarky back, but he noticed Lance on the floor playing with a dog. "What the hell is that?" Shiro asked, pointing at Kosmo. He wasn't a pet person, but he definitely wasn't a dog person. The last thing he expected to see coming down the stairs was a little animal in his house. Not to mention, the dog was blue. Shiro had so many questions, and he didn't even know where to start. What was most important was that Shiro didn't want a dog in his house. Who was going to take care of it? Certainly not Keith. Keith barley took care of himself, what was he expecting with a dog? Who was going to buy it's food? Take it on walks? Clean up after it? Shiro knew damn well Keith wasn't going to take responsibility for a dog, which is another reason why he didn't want it in the house. It was just going to end up becoming his dog, and Shiro didn't want to deal it.

"Lance's Christmas gift to me," Keith said with a smile. He walked over to Lance and plucked Kosmo off the ground. Keith cradled the husky in his arms and walked towards Shiro. "Isn't he cute?"

Shiro was completely baffled. "What-Keith, so help me God, you are not keeping it," he said, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Is that a puppy?" Adams voice called from upstairs. He came rushing down the staircase with wide eyes. "Oh my God, it's so cute!" Adam squealed, looking at husky in Keith's arms. His heart warmed at the sight of the puppy, wanting to snuggle and kiss it. "Can I hold it?"

Keith smiled, handing Kosmo to Adam. Adam squealed at how cute the puppy was. Kosmo looked up at Adam, pawing at his chest. Adam puffed out his bottom lip, his heart strings being tugged at. He held the puppy to his chest, smiling down at him. "His name is Kosmo," Keith mumbled. He knew from the start that Adam would be head over heels for the dog. He was sucker for cute things, especially puppies. Keith also knew that Shiro couldn't say no to Adam, it was impossible. "Shiro says I can't keep him."
