Hailey POV

        When I got out of the bathroom, I walked back to where Chris was sitting. I stopped for a moment and stared at him for a while. To be honest, he sort of looked sexy while he  was sitting there looking at the menu. My eyes widened when I turned my attention to the guy sitting right next to him. Jack.

Jack was my ex boyfriend. We used to date four months ago when he cheated on me with Jennifer. We called her Jennifer the prostitute since she looked and acted like one. She loved to flirt around guys and only talked to some of them when she needed something.

One time, I heard Jennifer talk to some nerd at school. She told him that she'll make out with him in exchange for him doing her homework. One homework leads to one hour of make out session. What guy would deny such offer? You know what happened next. The nerd guy made her homework and she did her part as well. Don't even ask why Jack cheated on me with Jennifer.  Believe me, you don't wanna know.

Jack was sitting right next to Chris. Holy SH-T. What should I do? Should I just go? Should I just leave on my own? But Chris was waiting for me. And I have to spend this time with him so I could get rid of him. But I also didn't want Jack to notice me with some guy. He might think Chris and I were dating.

I felt a light bulb light on top of my head. I smiled. That's it! Chris was the answer. I'll make Jack realize what he just lost.

As I headed  to where Chris was sitting, I let out a big sigh. Here goes nothing.

I placed my hand at his back and moved it a few times in slow motion vertically. I noticed Chris wasn't reacting to my touch. He didn't even bother to turn around. Why? Was he not interested?  I'm slightly feeling embarrassed now. Some people were now glancing at me with weird looks on their faces. So I reached out my head to his left ear.  I felt him shiver.

"I need you to act like my boyfriend for a while.  My ex is on your right." I couldn't help but notice his smell. He smelled good. I felt him glance to the right and stared at Jack for a while. 

Chris just looked at me amusingly. "Let's have some fun." he chuckled.

What did he mean by 'fun'? Before I could react to his statement, I was surprised when Chris grabbed my waist and placed his chin on my right shoulder. What was he trying to do? What am I going to do? Shit. 

The moment I realized what Chris was trying to do, I wrapped both of my arms on Chris's neck. I could still see Jack looking at the menu. I held Chris tighter. Suddenly, I felt Jack glance at us. 

"Hailey? Hailey Green?" Jack asked. I just ignored him when I felt Chris move his hands around my waist. 

"Hey, want me to stop? He's got your attention already." Chris whispered. I didn't want him to stop what he was doing yet. I needed to make it look  convincing.

"Not yet. Hold me tighter. I need to make it look convincing"

Chris did as he was instructed.
