"Hmmmmm."
I moaned when my phone keeps on ringing. I reached it from my sidetable. Without opening my eyes I answered the call. I didn't talk and waited for the caller to talk first.
"Hey Van!I'm on my way." Napabalikwas ako ng bangon nang marinig ang boses na yun.
I looked at my phone and saw that Kevlar is the caller. It's 7:00 in the morning!Fuck!I almost forgot, today is Saturday!
Ngayong araw pala kami pupunta ni Kevlar sa isang driving school. He suggested the driving school na pinag-aralan niya din noon. He vulonteered to let him teach me but I refused. Baka makaabala pa ako sa kanya.
"Malapit ka na?Shit!Wala pa akong ligo Kev!" I said and stood up to get my towel. I heared him chuckled from the other line.
"It's okay. I'll wait." He said.
"Oh sya sige na!Basta sa kanto ka lang ha!?" I said. He chuckled again.
"Okay!Okay!" He said.
I didn't answer and ended the call. Agad akong lumabas ng kwarto ko. Padabog kong nabuksan yung pintuan kaya nagulat yung kapatid ko na kakalabas lang din ng kwarto niya. Wala itong pang-itaas at may twalya pang nakasabit sa balikat niya.
"Ako muna mauuna sa banyo." Sabi ko at aalis na sana kaso hinigit niya ang kamay ko. I looked at him and arched my brow.
"Ako ang mauuna. May pasok ako samantalang ikaw dito ka lang naman sa bahay." He said.
"May lakad ako tanga at isa pa, ladies first." Yun lang ang sabi ko at iniwan siya.
Ilang minuto lang ako sa banyo. Minamadali din kasi ako ng kapatid ko. Agad akong nagbihis, nagsuot lang ako ng fly emirates croptop at denim high waisted short na tinernohan ko ng puting sapatos.
I put light make up on my face and I only used a liptint. I ready all my stuffs and put it into my double shoulder bag. I take a glance to myself in the mirror before going out from my room.
My mother shifted her gaze at me ang look at me from head to toe. My father is not here, he need to go to work. He's busy right now because their school will be having a program.
I didn't see my brother. Maybe he's at the school right now. Hindi na naman yun nag almusal dahil sa pagmamadali.
"Aalis ka na?Saan na yung kaibigan mo at pakainin mo muna." My mom said.
She knew that I will be going to a driving school. But, I didn't tell her that Kevlar is with me. Ang dami pa namang tanong itong si Mama.
