A/N before anyone reads this, know that I'm gonna go back (today or tomorrow) and rewrite at least to chapter 19. Crutchie and Finch are no longer soulmates, it's Finch and Tommy boy. Anyway, enjoy!
Third Person POV

"Hey Davey?" Jack starts, walking over to him.

He sets his backpack on the ground next to the table, as he sits down next to Davey at the lunch table, where he had been waiting for their friends.

"Morning Jack" Davey greets, entwining their hands. Jack smiles at him, kissing his forehead.

More of the boys greet them as they sit down with their lunches, and they start talking.

"You sounded like you were gonna ask me something earlier" Davey points out, taking a sip of his water. Jack nods.

"Our soulmate connection is the mark one right?" Jack asks to make sure. Davey nods, getting nervous. He starts subconsciously rubbing his hand. "Do you draw hearts and stars on your arms when you're bored? And words that are so light I can't read them?"

Jack holds up his left arm, and surely, there are words that are too light for the boys to read them, and doodles of stars and hearts.

"You aren't the one who's drawing them?" Davey asks, confused. He holds up his arm, that has the same thing.

"Hey, Crutchie, you have the same thing on your arm" Race points out, pointing to Crutchie's arm, which sure enough, has the same thing.

Crutchie panics for a minute, and before Jack and Davey can get a really close look, he hides his arm with his sleeve.

"Oh, I just remembered that my teacher needs me. He told me to come during lunch" Crutchie states, rushing to get his stuff.

The group watches as he bobbles out of the cafeteria, all of the Newsies going silent.

"We got him" Jack informs the group, as he and Davey gather their stuff, and go after him.

They find him in the hallway, a few minutes later, crying.

He was leaning against a wall, his knees pulled to his chest, with tears streaming down his face. His crutch was leaning against the wall next to him.

"Crutchie!" Jack exclaims, as he and Davey pick up the pace, running him.

Crutchie looks up at them, as they kneel beside him, Jack on his left, and Davey on his right.

"Crutchie, what's up?" Jack asks Crutchie, as he wipes the tears off of his face with his shirt.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry" Crutchie apologizes, over and over again. Jack and Davey share a look.

"Crutchie, what's wrong? Why are you apologizing? You've done nothing wrong" Davey questions. Crutchie looks up at him, Crutchie's bright green eyes meeting Davey's blue eyes.

"I didn't tell you. You guys just looked so happy when you two found out. And- I've known Jack for years and I've never told him." Crutchie starts, crying more than before as Davey wipes the tears off of his face. "I didn't tell Jack that he was my soulmate because- because I found out that I had two. Then today, you guys found out that you had a third soulmate- me."

Jack and Davey look at Crutchie, astonished. Crutchie starts crying more, fearing that they didn't want him.

Davey smiles at Crutchie, who tilts his head to the side, confused.

Jack cups Crutchie's face with his hands. He looks to Davey, who nods, and then to Crutchie, basically asking if he can kiss him.

Crutchie hesitantly nods. Jack leans in and kisses Crutchie, who kisses back, kinda in awe that this is happening.

Jack pulls away after a few minutes, still holding Crutchie's face. He looks in Crutchie's eyes, as Crutchie stares back, still in awe.

"Crutchie. I love you so so so much. Never forget that. Am I a little disappointed that you didn't tell me? Yeah, but I get it. I don't want you risking dying for my happiness, because if you had died and we found out that you were our soulmate, it would not've been a happy situation." Jack tells Crutchie, who nods. "We love you so much."

Jack kisses Crutchie again, before pulling away and kissing Davey.

Davey then turns to Crutchie, taking Crutchie's hands in his.
"I may not know you guys super well yet, but I know you well enough to know that you're amazing. No matter what, I'll be there for you and Jack. I promise."

Crutchie smiles at Davey, who kisses his cheek. Crutchie rolls his eyes playfully, grabs Davey by the collar of his shirt, and kisses him on the lips.

They pull away after a minute, Davey blushing almost as much as he did when Jack first kissed him. Jack chuckles.

"Come on, let's go outside. We have a free period with most of the Newsies" Jack reminds the two boys, who both nod.

Jack helps Crutchie up, while Davey grabs his and Crutchie's stuff.

Crutchie grabs his crutch, placing it under his arm, as he holds his school stuff. Crutchie walks in the middle of Davey and Jack, his hands entwined in one of each of theirs.

They head outside, to the school yard, like that. All of the Newsies smile when they see it.

"New couple in town?" Romeo asks, smirking. Jack rolls his eyes at him.

"Crutchie is our soulmate. We found out, apparently he knew this whole time" Jack informs the group as they sit down, playfully ruffling Crutchie's hair. Crutchie rolls his eyes, grinning.

"Crutch, if you don't mind answering, why didn't you tell them?" Albert asks, as he plays with Elmer's hair.

Elmer was half asleep in Albert's lap, he had had a long day with his siblings yesterday. Two of them got detention for standing up to bullies for their sister, and Elmer had been telling the school that the bullies deserved it too.

It was a fight he eventually won, as the bullies were suspended for a week or two, but his two brothers still got detention.

"I was worried about how Jack would feel about me being his soulmate, and me having two, cause I didn't know if he had two. He was not very good at picking up subtle hints at the time." Crutchie jokingly nudges Jack, who rolls his eyes. "Then Davey came, and they were so happy that I didn't want to interfere."

A chorus of 'Aww Crutchie's went around the group, as Crutchie blushed, looking away for a minute.

"You're so sweet!" Sarah exclaims. Crutchie grins, nodding back to her, as if to say 'so are you'. Sarah smiles.

"Whose house are we going to tonight?" Henry asks the group. Elmer weakly raises his hand.

"Mine. You said you would help me with my siblings" Elmer groggily reminds them. The boys and girls nod.

"Right, and we're bringing Lucky and Les-" Specs continues, but is cut off.

"And Tumbler!" Smokes adds, as the boys all laugh.

"And Tumbler" Specs corrects himself. Smokes grins at Specs, who smiles back.

"Welp, we better get to class. The faster we finish school, the faster we can go to El's" Jack points out. Everyone nods.

"Who are you kidding? School is so boring, time gets slower" Race reminds Jack, who turns to him, confused.

"You were literally just happy to be back" Jack points out. Race deadpans at him from where he was sitting in Spot's lap.

"That was yesterday. This is today, Jacky."

"Wow, so much can change in a day's time."

"A lot really can Jack, a lot really can."
