Reese***

I was trembling with fear. What was I thinking sleeping over at Rickel's house? What if he somehow loses his temper in the middle of the night and kicks me out? I know how bad his temper can get. I have learned from experience.

I took a shower and was standing in the bathroom contemplating what my next move should be. Should I confront him about what happened or should I just play it cool?

I took a deep breath and exited the bathroom wearing a comfortable pair of pyjamas that Rickel bought.

The room I was staying in was as big as a whole one bedroom apartment. There was a walk in closet filled with new clothes, a flat screen on the wall and a king sized bed that made me not miss Gaby's bumpy couch.

There was a knock on the door.

"So you're already dressed for bed? I thought we could talk before you turn in?"

"Talk about what?" I asked.

"Our deal of course. Maybe we can do it while watching a movie?"

I was a bit hesitant at first but what have I got to lose anyway? I've already lost my pride and dignity by living on someone else's couch and I dropped out of college and is now a maid. I mean, what else could go wrong?

"Ok sure." I agreed.

"Come to my room in the next five minutes." He said and left.

That, I didn't expect. Why couldn't we talk in a common area like the living room or the kitchen? Why his room?

I couldn't back out now. I've already told him yes. I just know how to dig holes for myself.

I took up my phone and walked quietly to his room. I could overhear his mom talking really loudly downstairs. She must be on the phone with her husband because she was talking about how Rickel was ruining his life and the family business.

I knocked on his door.

"Why are you knocking Reese? Just come in."

I pushed the door opened and stepped in. The lighting was turned down and he had a few scented candles lit. This looked more like a romantic date than a business meeting. What the heck?!

"You can go take a seat on the couch. I'll set up the movie." He started fondling the remote then settled for Double Wedding.

Double wedding? A romantic movie in dim lighting? What have I gotten myself into?

Something was wrong with him and I wanted to leave until I saw the thousand dollar bottle of wine and my favorite chocolates. Well..... Maybe I'll just stay for a little.

As the movie started, Rickel took a seat beside me and poured two glasses of wine. My hands were shaky as I took my first sip and waited for him to begin this 'meeting'.

He took up his writing pad. "So let's get down to business. We need to come up with a story of how we met in case someone asks."

That's actually a good point. I never thought that far.

"I think we have to first write down our interests then find something we have in common." I suggested.

He nodded then tore me a piece of paper. "Go ahead Reese. Write down what intrigues you."

Somehow he found a way to make that statement sound sexy.
