Maid For Him

Chapter 2

Reese***

I opened the apartment door to a hyper Gaby with a big smile spread across her face.
"So.....how was your first day with Mr. Hot Body?" She wiggled her brows.

"Quit being nasty!" I scolded her.

"Come on Reese. You have to admit that he's hot."

"I wouldn't know. He's my boss." I told her and she rolled her eyes.

"Dinner is in the fridge, Miss Boring." She told me as she walked over to the couch and threw herself on it.

Gaby has been my best friend since I dropped out of college.....and yes, she's always very candid.

I took my dinner from the fridge and popped it into the microwave deciding to take a shower while the food was being heated.

The warm water did wonders in relieving my tired muscles.

When I accepted the job of Rick's maid I had no idea how difficult it would be. It was hard trying to control my emotions when I'm around him but I have to. If my plan is ever going to work I have to control my emotions.

My first day went surprisingly well and I'm thankful that I wasn't fired because of the blond whore. Who is she anyway? His girlfriend? My research has shown that he isn't in a relationship with anyone. He even said it himself.

I will have to do my research on her too....just to make sure she doesn't interfere with my plans.

"Reese!" Gaby's voice pulled me from my thoughts. "Are you going to stay in the bathroom forever?!"

I chuckled slightly knowing that she only wants to hear details about the rich dumbass. "I'll be out soon," I shouted back.

After taking my shower I went to Gaby's room and pulled on my pajamas.

By the time I reached the living room, Gaby had my dinner waiting on the coffee table and was patting the seat next to her for me to come and sit.

"Sooooo....." She looked at me with expectancy in her eyes.

"So what?" I placed a spoonful of rice in my mouth to hide my smile. I know she will probably die if I don't give her details about Rick.

"What's he like?" She almost shouted. "Did you enjoy your first day with Rick... I mean...your first day working for him?" She wiggled her eyebrows at me.

I rolled my eyes. "Eeew! Come on Gaby he's my boss."

"What am I doing?" She tried to put on her best 'innocent girl' look.

"You're being nasty and I'm trying to eat." I scolded her and she pouted.

"Ok." I finally gave in. "My first day was ok....aside from the fact that I almost got fired."

"On your first day?! What the hell did you do? Try to touch his abs?"

"Gaby!"

"What? I'm trying to be realistic here." She pouted again. "Ok. What did you do then?"

"Well, he told me not to let anyone in the house while he wasn't there." I started to say but Gaby interrupted me again.

"You had a guy over while he wasn't there then he came home and caught you. You're a bad girl Reese. You-"

"Gaby please shut up and let me finish," I shouted at her.

She clamped her mouth shut and nodded for me to continue.

"So when I opened the door a blonde girl was there and she was very bitchy. I think she's his girlfriend but when he came home he was angry that I let her in."

Gaby didn't say anything. She just stared at me.

"You're allowed to speak now." I chuckled.

"I don't know what to say." She said as she stared at the television. "Other than we need to get rid of the blonde bitch."

I laughed....really laughed at her. "No, we are not getting rid of anyone. I'm there to work so I can possibly move off of your coach soon."

"No honey." She smiled at me. "My coach is always here for you. You know I will never get tired of having you here."

I nodded. "I know that but I hate hearing you having sex in the middle of the night. It's so annoying."

She opened her mouth wide. "You heard Henry and I last night?! This is so embarrassing. What did I sound like? Out of ten?"

"Gaby!" I scolded her. "I am not grading your lovemaking!"

"Come on why not? That's what friends are for." She pouted and I got up to go wash my plate.

Gaby can be so annoying at times. I walked over to the sink and she followed me.

"I would totally grade you if I heard you and Rick doing it." She took a chocolate bar from the fridge and munched on it.

"Eew! I wouldn't ask you to grade me." I told her and she smirked.

"So you admit that you would like to sleep with Rick then?"

"I'm not admitting anything. Just shut up. Ugh! You're so annoying." I told her. "I can't wait to move out of your apartment Gaby."

"You mean you can't wait to move in with Rick?" She faked surprise. "I can't wait to come and visit you guys."

I have had enough of this girl and her crazy talks. She is getting on my last nerve but I wouldn't trade her for anyone else. She has been by my side ever since I dropped out of college and she never even asked why. That's what I like about her. She decided to trust me and take me in even though she doesn't know my story.

"I'm going to bed, Gaby." I smiled at her and started walking away.

"You're going so early?" She asked.

"I have work in the morning and if I'm remembering correctly I think you do too." I kissed her on the cheek and walked toward the bathroom to brush my teeth.

My first day was finally over and when I stared at my reflection in the mirror I still can't believe that I actually did it.

After brushing my teeth, I took a blanket from the hall closet and made my bed on Gaby's sofa. I really need to start getting paid soon. This coach is giving me terrible backaches.

I fell asleep within minutes as I recalled the events of the day.
