Draco has just received his acceptance letter to Hogwarts, so as he excitedly ran downstairs to tell his parents they insisted that they go to Diagon Alley to get his school supplies immediately.
After a hectic day at Diagon Alley, after Draco being measured for his robes and getting his books and supplies ready for his first year at Hogwarts in September. Afterwards the Malfoys head back to the manor where Draco is greeted by a letter at his bedroom door.
He picks it up before heading inside his room and opening the letter addressed to him and reads it.
Dear D.M,
Hi, I don't know who you are but you seem nice. I have been keeping safe and well thank you and I hope you have too. By the way I'm Chloe, I'm nervous as the day inches closer to starting a new school. How are things for you?

As Draco puts the letter down on his bed, "she wrote back to me." He then grabs some parchment and a ink pot and begins writing back to Chloe. After he has finished his letter he hides the letter from Chloe in a box under his bed before then opening his window and a owl takes the envelope from him and flies off into the sunlight.
