*Korean*
It's been around two months since Mr.Lee found out that I'm H.E.R. Like that NCT 127 got their first win and their young album is a success. I've been on way too many Korean idols shows like today.
Sidney and I are on a weekly idol we are waiting for our cue, Sidney dances around a little as I zone out waiting for the hosts to call us in. I haven't learned their names but I know that Taeil and Renjun hate the hosts with a passion.
Taeil said that they keep on rubbing it in that he is old and is making him self conscious and Renjun hates them because they were rude to him, so this will be fun.
"We shall introduce the newest and hottest artist right now, H.E.R and Sol," they shout, picking me out of my dazed state. Sidney drags in front of the camera.
"Hello, I'm Sol," she says happily.
"Sup, I'm H.E.R," I say bowing to the camera.
"So after Sol and H.E.R perform we will continue speaking," the clean-faced one says. I walk away with the host and watch my best friends perform her song. I feel a shiver along my back when I hear her reach with her soft voice even though I produced the song and heard it a million times. Her voice and her appearance don't match, which made it more impactful. Every word she has sung has so much emotion in it to the point where you couldn't say anything.
I look at the host staring at her as continues to sing. She doesn't need choreo or to dress sexy. Her voice in general is all you need.
"Joycle your next," the producer says tapping on my shoulder.

I just finished singing. I look up to see Joycle smiling at me like I was her daughter that just got straight As. I walk over to Joycle. She hugs me and tells me how proud she is of me.
I love Joycle, when I was younger I used to get bullied because I'm Asian and I have two dads. I remember being called a lesbian, dyke, daughter of fags, yellow, dog eater, yellow oreo, but I met Joycle. She defended me and kept me safe, she was there for me when I just wanted to die and treats me like a princess. She does her best to help me and always has good advice. Even if she is scary and lowkey violent to outsiders, she's my best friend and I'm glad that we are in the same company.
She starts to sing and stage presence flows out of her, she looks so comfortable on stage unlike me. She's not wearing anything alluring but she has a seductive vibe. Not like Nicki Minaj or Cardi B sexiness. It's elegant, mature, flirtatious, it's not in your face or twerking. The music is slow complemented her luscious voice. Even the way she holds her mic is sophisticated. The way she looks at the camera sends shivers through the cameraman's back.
She's the definition of elegant and class, even when you look at her you're expecting a rockstar or a punk. The way she talks, moves and acts only screams chic and cultured. I wish I was even five percent like her. She knows herself and is proud of it while I know so little about the world. She knows so many languages and how to play so many different instruments.
She finishes singing and we continue the day.
