Chapter 23

I walk out of my room and down the stairs to see Lucas and Felix wearing swim trunks.

"Hey," Lucas says as I walk towards them.

"Sup," I say as I hold my towel.

"How are you," Lucas asks.

"I got no clue," I say, making him chuckle.

"Here you're Ice cream cone, we should go to the hot tub," Felix says.

"Alright," Lucas says as I grab my ice cream.

We walk out to the backyard and into a hot tub.

"I never noticed how many tattoos Jj has," Lucas says, making me look at him confused.

"Same here, what's the story behind all the tattoos," Felix asks.

"We would be here all night if I told you," I chuckle out making the other laugh too.

"I mean you only have five tattoos," Lucas says.

"Yes and that is five long stories," I say.

"Alright fine, I want to know the story behind the two dragons on the right side of your right thigh," Felix says.

Out of all of my tattoos, you had to choose that one.

"Oh my god that one," I say.

"Yeah, it's so different from your other tattoo," Lucas says teaming up with Felix.

"Uh, fine, um I don't know where to start," I sigh out.

"From the beginning," Lucas says, making me roll my eyes.

"So um- uh- oh god um," I say as I look at Lucas and Felix who are eating their ice cream. "When I was fourteen, um- my older brother was really into art. Um-wow- ah shit," I go on as I feel my tears build up.

"Joycle you don't have to tell us the story," Felix says rubbing my back as the water gets hotter.

Lucas pulls me into his laps, the water glides against my body as I rest my head on his shoulder. Lucas kisses my cheek while tracing my spine.

"Oh, you shouldn't do that," Felix says.

"Why?" I ask as I hear someone gasp. I turn my head to see Hyunjin standing there with his eyes bulging out.

"Is that why," Lucas asks Felix. Felix nods his head before licking his cone.

"So you two are the couple," Hyunjin says as he crosses his arms.

Not now!

"What?" I ask, confused.

"You know what fine, I'm leaving," he says before walking out.

"Oh boy," Felix says, making me stare at the emptiness of where Hyunjin was.

"Joycle go talk some sense into Hyunjin," he orders.

"He's really angry. Can you speak to him?" I ask Felix.

"Girl you have to do that," Felix says.

"Why is he upset," Lucas asks.

"He has a major crush on Joylce," Felix answered.

"Wait really," I ask.

"How did you not notice," Felix says.

"I thought he was just being nice," I say, making Felix sigh.

"Go and try to not fuck this up," Lucas says unwrapping his arm from my waist.

"Ight, wish me luck," I say. 

I get out of the hot tub shivering, I remember that it is October in Korea.

God fucking damn it.

I wrap my towel around my body and run to Hyunjin. Hyunjin was about to get his bike. In an attempt to stop him, I grab his wrist. He glares at me with tears welling up and his cold eyes tighten.

"What," he says with his deep and shaky voice.

"Why are you so upset with me?" I ask quickly as he glowers down at me.

"What is your relationship with Lucas," he demands.

"We are friends," I say as I lean away from Hyunjin.

"Oh really, cause that doesn't look like what friends do," he shouts.

Why is he acting like this, we aren't dating.

"He's something more to you," he goes on. 

"So what if he and I are something more, does it matter," I say.

"It matters cause I like you, no I love you and I hate seeing you with another guy," he exclaimed with his voice thickening. He looks down as I look away.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know that you felt that way towards me," I mumble out.

"Please give me a chance, I'll make you the happiest girl in all of Korea," he says with his voice lowering. He mirrors my movement and leans closer to me. "I know that I'm not as good looking as Lucas or funny like him but I care about you and I need you in my life," he stammers, he slowly smiles at me and holds my hand.

Oh god, I wish I was at home in my room by myself.

I laugh while rocking myself back and forth. I shake as I play with my lips. I felt my shoulder drop and myself hyperventilate. There's a ring in my ear that refuses to go away as I gain tunnel vision. I feel my legs go weak and my head starts to feel weak.

"Hyunjin oppa, this is a lot," I mumble.

"Please say yes, you won't regret this, I swear," he goes on.

"I don't know, I'm sorry," I say.

"I understand but can we at least be friends with benefits," he asks.

"Um, what?" I ask as my eyebrows squish together.

"I mean, your friends with benefits with Lucas. Why can't you do that with me?" he asks.

My lips pressing together in a slight grimace, "I have to ask Lucas," I say.

"Nobody needs to know," he says as he kisses me.

What?! Girl! What the fuck do you do!?

His lips are soft, he is hot. You should hook up with him.

Joylce don't be a horn dog and stops him.

But his lips are sooooo soft and he tastes good.

What are you a vampire?

I close my eyes and kiss him back.

What are you doing!?

You know that this won't work, why are you doing this?!

He pulls me closer and deepens the kiss.
