I have watched hundreds of young people; some were good, many were average and very few were bad. I have already drunk three cups of boba in a span of 9 hours. It's time to call the last person and I am excited to go to the skatepark with Fathima and Sidney right next to our hotel.
"Next," I say tapping on the table. Sidney bites her pen as Fathima rests her head on her hand waiting boredly for the last person to walk in.
"Hello," the person says with a female voice.
"Hi," I say.
"Hey," Sidney says.
"Hello," Fathima says.
"What is your name?" Sidney asks as the person walks into the middle of the room.
"My name is Aashi Aquino," they say smiling brightly.
"What are your pronouns," I ask.
"She/her," Aashi says.
"So what have you prepared of us," Sidney says.
"I made my own song," Aashi says.
"What's the name," I ask.
"The name is Into You," Aashi answered.
"Alright please start," I ordered.
She starts to sing and her voice makes me look at her in shock.
Her voice is amazing. Oh my god that high notes. She's our next member. Main vocal probably and her lyrics are good. She'll be our main vocal and lyricist if she joins.
She finished singing and awkwardly looked at us. I look at Fithma and she has the 'she is the one'. I look at Sidney and she gives the ' can we please have her in our group'.
"You're in but I have a special offer," I say.
"Really," Aashi asks.
"Yes, would you like to join a kpop group," I ask.
"Duh," Aashi says.
"I, Sol and Fathima are creating a kpop group and I was wondering if you would like to join," I say.
"So you're telling me that you and Sol, both multi grammy winning artists, want me to work with you," Aashi says.
"Yup," Sidney says.
"Of course I'll join you guys," Aashi says nearly screaming.
"Alright, you just need to go to Korea and get your contract signed but here is the number to the international section of SM. Basically they take care of flight, your papers and things in that manner," I say give her a folder.
"Thank you so much," Aashi says.
"Fathima said she wants to go skating now," Sidney says.
"Wait you all skate," Aashi asks.
"Yeah, okay we should leave this building, I need to get another bubble tea,"I say.
"That's going to be the fourth one in the span of ten hours," Fathima says in Korean.
"Today was a stressful day," I say as we walk out of the building.
