I woke up in a cold sweat. I look around to see that I'm in my room in my house. I release a sigh of relief.

Please tell me that was a dream.

I yawn as I get to my cold bathroom.

Why does this feel off?

I start to brush my teeth to see the hickeys left on my neck.

"No!" I cry out as I look at my neck with a giant purple bruise.

I quickly changed and walked downstairs. I look at the clock to see that it's six in the morning.

"Joylce, we should go skate, then we get breakfast at our usual spot," Sidney asks.

"Sure, let me get my wallet and mask (wear your mask )," I say as I got back upstairs and took my stuff. I take my Galaxy theme cruising longboard.

We run out of the house and start to skate around our gated neighborhood. It's been a while since Sidney and I have gone skating for around three months since we have been really busy plus SM has been really strict on us.

"I missed this," Sidney says as we skate out of the neighborhood.

"Same, it's nice to not have people watching you," I say as I smile.

"I miss home," she says as I look at her.

"Same, I miss my siblings, I've never thought I would say that," I say chuckling at the end.

"Don't you miss our school?" she asks.

"Nah, the teachers hated me," I say.

"That's because you were a troublemaker," she says.

"Not my fault that school is boring," I say.

"You were feared throughout the whole school," she says.

"That's because I was like the only kid from the hood," I responded.

"No there were like nine other people, you guys used to hang out all the time," she says as her short hair flies with winds.

"Okay so I wasn't the only kid from the hood, but out of 600 people, only ten of them were from the hood," I say.

"That includes the k-12, how did y'all find each other," she asks.

"Urelles found me when I was in like first grade, you remember right?" I ask.

"Remember what?" she asks me.

I look at the floor, I rub my left arm, "Oh," I whisper out as my heart feels like it's shrinking.

"Are you okay?" she asks while shining her almost blinding smile.

"I thought you were going to remember," I say.

"Oh, I'm sorry," she says.

"It's cool," I say.

"So what happened in first grade?" she asks.

"Do you remember the day when I beat up Logan because he threw chocolate milk on you and messed up your favorite shirt," I ask her.

"Maybe, was it the lavender one," she asks.

"With ruffs on the bottom of the sleeves and under the collar there was a loose bow plus it was super flowy. " I say.

"Yeah, I remember," she says as we make a left turn. "Oh wait now I remember, you like broke his nose," she says.

"Don't say that so loud what if someone heard that! Our career didn't even officially begin and I would already be dragged to the floor," I say.

"Sorry," she says with her adorable puppy eyes.

"Don't worry about it. Anyway when I was outside waiting to be called in the principal office. Urelles was also outside the office; it was like she could smell the hood in me because the first thing she said was which gang are you part of," I say before we stop skating.

There was an old couple holding hands waiting to cross the street. They remind me of my grandparents.

I wish I could grow old with someone like that. Sidney basically found the love of her life and I'm stuck with a bunch of hickeys from friends with benefits.

"So she basically knew that you are a gang member," she says as she bops her head around like she is listening to music.

"Yeah basically, apparently our gangs were allies and we quickly became close friends even though she is two years older than me," I say as we started to skate again and reached the breakfast spot.
