I open the door to an abandoned warehouse, Sidney, Chris, Felix, Lucas, Jaemin, Hyunjin, Hendery, Yangyang, Jeno, Johnny, and Mark convert the warehouse into a secret hideout.

It's our paradise, a place without staff, fans, or money-hungry people. It's our only safe place. I turn on the light and automatically walk to the background.

There are a pool and hot tub on the left side of the background and on the right is a mini skate park. I was here to skate.

I took my skateboard and started skating. I felt the world lift off my shoulder. The wind dances in my hair. I do a couple of tricks until I feel someone watching me.

"Hey," the voice says.

"Felix? What are you doing here," I ask as I stop skating.

"Mark texted me that he heard your manager yell at you," he says as he sits down on the edge of the ramp.

"Huh, did he yell at me that loud," I released?

"Apparently, Jeno felt like shit after that," he says.

"Damn, I wasn't expecting that," I say resting my head on his shoulder. "How is the show going?" I ask as I watch him sigh.

"Jyp said my Korean sucked and eliminated me like an hour ago," he responds.

"Bro, I'm so sorry," I say hugging him.

"It's cool, I heard about your Grammy nomination," he says changing the subject.

"Yeah, it's pretty cool. I don't really know how I feel about it if I'm being honest. I kinda hate it-" I say as I look at Felix's shocked expression. "I realize that the company sees me as a dollar sign and they don't really care about me. They'll replace me if I mess up," I finish my thought.

"Damn, that's deep," he says, making me laugh.

"Yeah, I guess it is," I say.

"So I guess both our days sucked," he chuckled.

"Hey do you want ice cream, we have some in our freezer," I say.

"Yeah," he says as I stand up. He follows me to the kitchen.

"Do you regret coming to Korea," I ask looking at him?

"No, do you," he asks.

"Kinda," I say. "Chocolate, Vanilla, or Caramel," I ask.

"Chocolate," he answers. I hand him the chocolate drumstick while I take the Caramel.

"Do you want to go to the hot tub?" he asks.

"Sure," I answer.

"I'll put the ice cream in the fridge," he says, making me nod as I walk upstairs to our bedroom area and go into my room. My phone rings and I answer it.

I look at the ID before talking.

"Hey mom," I say.

"Hi, Kimchi," she says as I put her on speaker.

" I miss you," she says.

" I miss you too," I say as I try not to cry.

"How was your day baby," she asks.

"Complex," I answer.

"Oh why is that," she asks.

"I got nominated for a Grammy," I said.

"Oh my god, I'm so proud of you. You know you got your singing abilities from your grandma from your dad's side," she says making me chuckle.

"Oh seriously," I say.

"When she was alive her voice was like hearing an angel," she says.

"Thanks cool," I say as I remove my clothes.

"So are you planning to see me when you come back to America?" she asks as I attempt to put on my top.

"Of course I am but this isn't up to me," I answer.

"Ah yeah, I forget that you are signed with the Star Museum," she says causing me to stop struggling with my bikini top.

"What?" I ask.

"What," she asks, making her voice a bit higher at the end.

"What do you mean I'm signed to the Star Museum?" I ask.

"Wait, do you not know that SM stands for Star Museum Entertainment," she asks.

"Yes,I didn't know," I answered.

"Try to convince your manager to allow you," she says.

"I'll try but that man hates me," I say.

"Why does he hate you," she asks as I hear William in the background watching Blue clues.

"Cause I'm a foreigner that became famous overnight," I answer.

"Ah- make sense, people suck," she responds, making me chuckle.

"Yeah, I miss you mom," I say.

"I miss you too, Kimchi," she says.

"How is the gang doing," I ask.

"Pretty good actually, they are following your plans and Jenna is an extremely good leader. It's like you never left but we are running into issues," she says.

"What's the problem?" I ask.

"The Pistol Rider killed Jackie," she says.

"Who killed the baker?" I ask.

"The Pistol Rider, there is a smaller gang and new to. Their leader is Joseph John's son," she answers.

"So you're telling me a gang that is from a different city came and killed an innocent baker?" I ask, staring at my phone in disbelief.

"Yup they placed the head on our base," she says.

"Wow," I responded, not knowing what to say.

"Yeah, Jenna wants to talk to you about how she should handle this," my mom says.

"Tell her to call me tomorrow," I say.

"Alright will do, anyhow Grace has to go to highschool and William needs to go to kindergarten soon and I need to go to work, so I'll call you later," she says.

"Alright, mom. I love you bye," I say.

" I love you to pumpkin, bye," she says before hanging up.
