When I entered the store, I couldn't help but smile. Everything was here. Chanyeol wanted a simple wedding and I wanted to have a memorable one. With this, I'm pretty sure we'll both be happy.

After an hour, I went out of the shop with paperbags. I grabbed my phone to contact Kyungsoo. I know he really isn't interested in helping me but he is my bestfriend so I think he'll be here for me eitherway.

Kyungsoo and I met at the nearby coffee shop. His eyebrow raised upon seeing me with tons of paperbags. "So, what's up?" He asked in a worried yet curious tone. I smiled widely, making him nervous.

"I need your help. Chanyeol wanted to get married next week."

Kyungsoo's eyes widen but he didn't say anything. Instead, he looked at me with seriousness. "What can I do?" I bit my lip in excitement. "I need help with decorating the venue. I have this whole plan inside my head but I can't execute it alone."

As I continued to explain my idea, Kyungsoo suddenly spoke, "I haven't seen you this happy." I paused and turned to him. He had this light smile on his face. "Thanks." I replied. Maybe he was right. Even when I became a best-selling author or when my book was going to be a movie, the happiness that I felt before was nothing compared now.

It was already night time when I arrived back at the hospital. The doctor just got out of Chanyeol's room. "Doc!" I called his attention and he turned to me almost immediately. I walked fast to his side.

"How is he?"

He lightly smiled, "so far, the new method is working on him. I think we have a good chance." I smiled widely with the news. "So, next week, he can go out?" The smile on the doctor's face disappeared. "What do you mean?"

When I explained the situation to him, he seemed to be in a deep thought. "We'll have to see if his body can take it. If not, you just have to change venues." I bit my lip in thought and just nodded. When the doctor walked away, I entered Chanyeol's room.

He smiled upon seeing me. "I'm getting better" He proudly said, making me chuckle. "I heard. You need to be strong so we can get married" I winked, making his eyes wide. "YOU.. YOU'RE PREPARING ALREADY?"

I nodded as I sat beside him. "You wanted to do it next week, right? I need to prepare." He hugged me as his body trembled. I could hear sniffs while I hugged him back. "Thank you, Baek."

I moved away and wiped his tears. "You just need to promise me one thing." He looked at me with seriousness. "You need to be okay or the doctor won't let you out." He pouted, "We can just leave without his permission..." I shaked my head, "No. I want to enjoy that day, Chanyeol. I don't want to think about anything else." He nodded like an obedient puppy. "Yes, sir."

He moved to the side of the bed and asked me to lay beside him. "Tell me what you have planned." I chuckled and went beside him. "It's a secret. I want to surprise you." He playfully frowned as he played with my hair. "What? I don't have a clue what's gonna happen?"

I nodded as I hugged him. I rested my head on his chest while he continued to ruffle my hair. "Just leave everything to me." He chuckled and hugged me tight. "I love you, Baek."

I looked at him and kissed his lip. He looked at me with a shocked expression, making me laugh. He cupped my face and looked at me lovingly. I loved that expression so much. "Thank you for coming back to me."

I can feel my tears forming in my eyes. I looked away, I don't want to cry in front of him. "Don't talk that way." He closed his eyes and hugged me. "If I can just be magically healthy again, I would surprise you every day, just like the old times."

"You'll be healthy. The medications are working, right?" I replied but my voice was cracking. He just nodded and hugged me tighter. "Don't stop fighting, Chanyeol. Okay?" I asked. He didn't reply.

I didn't know if silence really means yes or he just didn't want to disappoint me. I'm nervous and scared but I have to hold on to that thin string of hope that he will be fine. He should be. Chanyeol is a fighter. He survived for 3 years. He can easily do it again.

I stayed beside him as I listened to his breathing and light snores. His grip on me never loosened. He looked like a little boy who doesn't want to let go of his favorite toy. I smiled and pat his back as he slept.

"Baekhyun.."

"Hmm?"

"Don't go."

I should be the one telling you that, right? Don't leave me, Chanyeol. Not again.
