CHAPTER 21
SEULGI
Hindi ko alam kung bakit ako kinakabahan and I am walking back and forth here in the dining area. It's just a dinner, a simple dinner with them and why I am acting like I am going to face my prof in a defense of my project proposal.
"Kang Seulgi pwede ba tumigil ka sa kakalakad diyan. Aba, nahihilo ako sayo bata ka." My Mom said at me that makes more nervous. Bakit kasi naisipan pa nitong imbitahin ang mga ito. Pwede namang siya na lang. Pwede namang bukas na lang sila mag-usap.
"Mommy. Bakit kasi inimbitahan niyo pa sila. Eh pwede namang si Irene na lang." Saad ko dito but she glared at me that makes me shut my mouth tight.
Then I heard a car horns outside na agad ko namang ikinatingin kay Mommy but the latter she pinpoint me the entrance or should I say the outside of our house.
Shit. They here. What am I going to do.
"Sila na yan. Salubungin mo sina Tita mo Kang Seulgi. Ipinapaalala ko sayo. Umayos ka." My Mom told me na agad ko na lang ikina-buntong hininga.
"Yeah. Lalabas na." Sagot ko naman dito and start walking towards the door to meet Irene and her parents.
My parents just called me a while ago in the restaurant to invite them here in the house and I was shocked of it. Hindi ko akalaing mag-iimbita sila ng biglaan and I am not even aware of it neither Bae. She didn't know about this.
Kaya naman nagpaalam ako kina Jisoo and the other's na hindi kami makakapunta sa hospital to accompany them because this dinner tonight.
Sighing, agad akong lumabas sa pintuan namin na nakabukas and I saw her parents walking towards my direction.
What the hell. Anong gagawin ko. Fuck they are coming. Oh God.
"G-good evening po." Bati ko sa kanila and her Mom kiss me in my cheeks. "Good evening iha."
"Ganun din sayo iha." Her father said at me and we give each other a handshake but I just noticed na wala si Irene.
Where is she? Hindi kaya ito makakapunta? But she told me she will join us tonight.
"She's still in the car iha if you are looking for her. May nalaglag yata sa loob." Her father added na ikinatango ko.
Oh, I see kaya pala wala.
"Pasok na po kayo sa loob nandoon na po sina Mommy and Daddy." Saad ko naman sa kanila.
"Mauna na kami sayo iha. Pakisundo na lang si Irene sa sasakyan." Sambit naman sa akin ni Tita and tap me in my shoulder.
"Sige po. Ako na pong bahala sa kanya." I said and I bowed at them before I start walking towards their car. Hindi ko makita ang loob nito because of the window. It is tinted.
I am just wearing my casual attire at hindi ko alam kung anong suot nito. Matapos ko siyang ihatid kanina ay hindi na kami nakapag-usap because my Mom bombared me when I got home and help her for the preparation even though may mga kasambahay naman kami na tutulong sa kanya.
"Bae." I called her when I am in the door and I knock the window.
"Coming. Just wait a minute." Rinig kong sambit nito sa akin.
"Okay." Sagot ko naman dito and my phone suddenly vibrates in my pocket na agad ko namang inilabas to check it out and the message was coming from the GC of the top's. I wish Lisa can join us now when she wakes up. She missed lots of conversation in our group chat kahit na madalang itong magreply at palaging seen ang ginagawa nito sa GC.
