Rae is the light and Samuel is the dark. Two innocent souls, somehow found one another and despite everything about them outwardly seeming so opposite, they cannot escape the pull they feel towards one another. Meeting for the first time in high school, Samuel is the new Sophomore student, not even interested in making any friends. His features and sense of style completely standing out in the small town high school, making him a target. The only one willing to help him even though he never spoke a word to defend himself was Rae. To Samuel, he was not sure how much he could endure if it was not for her. He was always blinded by her light, and like a moth to a flame was drawn to it. Rae being the outgoing, social butterfly she is, could never explain to anyone why she felt the need to stand up for Samuel. Not even to herself and yet she subconsciously tried to do everything in her power to make him smile. Dichotomy is in most, if not all things... It is interesting how a contrast between two things that are represented as being entirely different can be influenced by time. With time, comes change. So as these two continue to cross paths without having kept in contact, Samuel realizes the person he thought could be nothing but light is drowning in darkness. Can he help pull her out and restore their beautiful dichotomy?
