Bea Hopkins, the name that sounds like music to Asher Wilson's ears. Both are attending the University of Washington: School of Nursing, in Seattle. The seventeen year old girl has a rough past from which Asher doesn't know about, but same counts for the eighteen year old boy and his past.

Bea's missing wasn't noticed by most people, she faded away already before she really disappeared. While known as the girl with several mental issues due to the accident on the night of thirty-one October that flipped her life upside-down, it wouldn't be surprising if she walked away herself, would it?

Asher, who lives under the quote "Fake it til you make it", feels like he's being dragged back down the hole he just came from when case Hopkins passes his ears. Doing everything he can, he unravels the truth. The dirty, inhuman truth. She would have been dead by night time if he wasn't there that night...
