"Don't!" I yelled out from below. My voice caught her attention and she quickly directed her attention towards me, anger flowing through her veins as she looked down at me. "He's going to--" However, before I could finish my sentence, I felt goosebumps trail across the surface of my skin, and I drew my attention back to Eren as a throat piercing scream erupted from his mouth.
"You fucking traitors!"
I watched as another bolt of lighting shot down onto Eren's body, his Titan forming as the muscles of it's limbs extended from Eren's own body as he was lodged into the nape. As he transformed, I saw Reiner's hand burn to a crisp, his forearm halfway gone as well. A roar emitted from Eren's mouth as they both fell and Eren drove a crushing punch into Reiner's face, pushing it against the wall and dragging it down before the both of them collided into the ground. Completely uplifting the dirt and layers of sediment under.
A cloud of dirt and dust flew into the air, masking Eren and Reiner just beneath it. I heard the sounds of hitching grow close to me, which I knew exactly who it was. As I turned, I spotted Mikasa moving slightly down the wall, hoping to catch a glimpse of Eren below the cloud of dust. Her gaze switched between the Colossal Titan and Eren before lowering her head, gritting her teeth as her hands slightly shook.
"Don't beat yourself up about it." I spoke, causing her to draw her gaze towards me. "I couldn't stop them either." I firmly stated, drawing my hand to the large cut on the side of my face that was still gushing blood. As I pressed down on it, I slightly winced, feeling the pain and nausea ride up my throat again.
"It would have been so easy, but...why couldn't I do it? All I had to do was slice cleanly through their heads, but..." She paused, her head falling as she changed her gaze back towards Eren.
"And you'll never get that chance again, but for now, we have to keep moving and trust that Eren will be able to fight off Reiner. Right now...it's all we can do." I replied. She shot her gaze towards me, her eyes drifting towards the ground before she nodded—signaling she acknowledged my words.
However, our small talk was cut short as we felt the wind violently shift above us. We both shot out gazes towards the top of the wall, seeing the Colossal Titan's hand drag along the top of it and knock everything off. Hover in the skies just a few meters away from it all were Hange, Sasha, Armin and another soldier, seems they were able to get off in time. Judging from how large it was, it wouldn't be able to move as fast with such long limbs, meaning they were probably all safe for now.
They all quickly landed near Mikasa and I, their eyes drawn towards Bertoldt.
"He...ate Ymir." Historia whispered out, her eyes withholding fear and confusion as she kept her gaze keen on Bertholdt. My eyes widened...no way...why? Tsk, they are that keen to keeping their secrets safe that they would go to that extent!?
"All troops, prepare for combat! Contain the Colossal Titan! He's humanities biggest enemy! Everyone attack at once!" Hange ordered, yelling out her commands. I felt my breathing get caught in my throat for a moment, and I was about to retaliate against her orders, however, before I could even say anything Hange was first to move. Jumping off from the side of the wall and shooting a hook upwards to help propel herself forward.
"Hange..." I whispered out, shutting my eyes in frustration, however, I took deep breath and quickly took a look at the soldiers next to me. They were frozen, unmoving as their faces fell in dismay.
"You heard her! Contain the Colossal Titan at all costs!" I yelled out, turning my head side to side to address everyone. They all were quickly drawn to the sounds of my voice, staring at me as they gulped down the last of their saliva.
