"Are we going for it Levi-bro?" Isabel asked trying to confirm. However, even though I really did want to get this job over and done with...I felt a weird pit settle in my stomach as my heart climbed up into my throat. Was I second guessing myself? Or was it something else? This was not the right time for me to do this, but I couldn't seem to ease the amount of fear as it only continued to rise with each passing second. Something was going to happen, and it wasn't going to be good.

"Yes, but I'd be suspicious if all four of us broke away, so I'll go alone." Levi continued, thoroughly explaining the plan to which we were all listening attentively to. However, it didn't sound good, Levi going alone would be dangerous, but he was right, if he wasn't the only one to leave, it would be too suspicious. The current situation with the weather only made it worse as Levi was more vulnerable to titans without proper visibility. I felt my frustration grow as I listened to the plan Levi was spilling out, but at the same time, I myself couldn't think of anything better.

"True, it's probably best not to carelessly move around too much." Farlan acknowledged Levi's point, giving him permission to go at it alone. However, I could hear his voice break as he finished off his last word as a hint of worry seeped into his voice. To be honest, who wouldn't be after all the current events and what weather was like right now. I bit my lip slightly, I wanted to say something--come up with a better plan, but nothing came to mind at the moment--frustrating me as I reluctantly accepted the course of action.

"I guess we don't have a choice. We're counting on you Levi-bro! Go secure our citizenship!" Isabel's encouraged, although her voice sounding confident and seeming to have not a hint of worry, the look on her face completely contradicted that of her tone. I could see the blatant worry and quiver in her lips as she voiced her final thoughts. She was scared, and she was trying to do her best to put her trust into Levi, which I should've also done. I let out a shaky breathe before I turned to look at the side of Levi's face.

"I know you will, but please be careful. I better see you later when this is all done and over." I nagged as my breath felt clogged in my throat. I was starting to lose it again. The thoughts of all the things that could've gone wrong were starting to cloud my mind. But I couldn't do anything except for swallow my heart and trust Levi.

"If anyone asks, tell them I went on ahead to scout the terrain...Y/N, watch over them for me." Those were Levi's final words before he turned around and I could see him beginning to accelerate. I felt a slight pull at my heart as I heard those last words...That idiot. Why did he have to say that like he wasn't going to come back.

"Got it." Farlan said before Levi took off into the mist.

I watched as he quickly went ahead and I felt myself begin to shake as my emotions were taking over. He rode for a few seconds before turning back to look at us and we quickly waved to him wishing him good luck, I could see the sadness and slight hesitation as he turned around, but he knew that this was the only way it could work and kept moving forward. We watched him until his shadow was engulfed by the mist and my arm heavily fell back down to my side and I grasped harder onto the reins.

Everything is going to be fine Y/N. Just believe in Levi. I let go of a breath that I'd been holding and turned back to Farlan and Isabel.

"Let's rejoin the formation." I ordered and they nodded as we slightly sped up to merge into the squad.

We soon reached the squad who were riding at the same speed and we were quickly confronted by that same woman from earlier.

"Where have you rookies been! Don't you see the current situation? If you end up falling behind you will probably become Titan food!" She voice raised in pitch as she was enraged at us. We needed to act like we just got behind a bit, anything else and she would most likely grow suspicious of us.
