"I'll accept your enlistment into the Survey Corps."

I raised my chin, slightly in amusement as I watched the scene unfold in front of me. I saw the determination and drive disappear from Eren's face as a facade of fear and unease sat on his face.

"Eren..." I calmly say as I take a few steps forwards and join Levi at the front of the cell. I saw his eyes grow in shock as he turned his attention towards me.

"H-Hai!" He quickly shouted out and I drew my head back a little as the sound seemed to bounce off the walls of the small cell and reverberate back 100 times louder than usual.

"Don't yell, and Levi won't be the only one watching you. I don't think you're a bad person, but I'd assure you that it would be best to behave adequately or it won't be Levi or I who kills you." I calmly state and I saw Eren's face quickly fill with shock, but then fall as he grew aware of the shit situation he was put into.

"I understand. Thank you Y/N-heichou." Eren replied, his voice growing into a whisper as his head fell. I saw all the determination, blood lust, and fear leave his body as his shoulders fell and he sat motionless. I heard a slight shift in the chains as they pushed against each other and filled the empty void with their sounds.

"Levi, Y/N. We are leaving." Erwin ordered and I heard him shift as he stood from the bench as walked ahead of Levi and I. I watched as Levi removed his hand from the bars and turned towards Erwin. I stayed put in front of the cell as I heard Levi's footsteps slowly travel away from me.

"Y/N, we're leaving." Levi repeated and I turned my gaze towards him. He'd stopped after taking a few steps and I quickly looked back at Eren. He still hung his hand and sat motionless on the bed.

"Go ahead. I'll meet you outside." I replied as I signaled for Levi to leave. I watched as he hesitated, but eventually turned away and slowly made his way towards the exit of the dungeon. I waited until I heard the door shut close and before turning back towards Eren.

"Sorry if I scared you there." I let my voice fall a bit and soften. He slowly lifted his head at the sound of my voice and I saw the apparent fear written in his eyes as they locked with mine, "I don't think your a bad person, just someone who was cursed with the burden of a hero." I continued and a small smile rose on my lips as I watched him listen to my words attentively like a naive child.

"You know, you eyes remind me of someone I used to know." I changed the topic and a slight, soft laugh escaped my mouth as Isabel's face flashed through my head, "You guys have the same eyes. That same light and determination happened to draw me towards her." I reminiscently said. I saw a small flash of light gleam over Eren's eyes as he listened to my words. He didn't say anything and simply stood staring at me, but I could tell what he wanted to say from reading his body language.

"I--" Eren began, but I was quick to cut him off.

"I've gotta go. Levi and Erwin are waiting for me." I quickly said as I took a step back from the cell and peered down the hall of the cellar, "Till next time Eren." I stated my farewell and then turned away from the cell and began walking towards the exit. As I reached the stairs of the cellar, I let out a small sigh I'd been holding. Did I say enough? Why did I stay behind if I was only going to say something as useless as that? My thoughts clouded my mind as I made my way up the steps.

As I reached the top, I grasped onto the door of the cellar and raised my head a bit as open it. A bright flash of light seeped through the slit of the door as I slowly pushed it open.

"Levi?" His name rolled off my tongue perfectly as I spotted him waiting on the opposite side of the hall leaning against the window.

"Took you long enough. Were you constipated and couldn't find a bathroom before you came out?" Levi sarcastically remarked and a small laugh escaped my lips as I walked out of the cellar and shut the door behind me.
