Eren Yeagar | Part 17

"Oi, Y/N. Wake up you lazy shit." Levi said, standing over my side of the bed. I awoke to the sound of his voice and shifted a bit before quickly signaling for him to leave with my eyes still shut.

"No, we have to head to the courthouse today. Wake up you brat." Levi repeated before pulling my pillow out from below my head and placing it between his arm and waist. I groaned as my head abruptly landed on the bed and slowly opened my eyes to see Levi hovering over the side of the bed.

"Fine, fine. I'm up. Go away." I rasped, lazily turn away from Levi as I tried my best to gain just a little bit more sleep.

"Get out of bed or you will just fall back to sleep and take care of your morning breath. It's disgusting." Levi complained and I let out another small groan before I turned back around and stood up off the bed.

"I just wanted a few more minutes." I murmured and cursed under my breath as I walked towards his bathroom. I felt kind of bad for acting like I did every morning, but Levi knew that it was just a small fit. I quickly washed up and then left the bathroom to see Levi fully dressed already. I was still in my night clothes and the shirt Levi had given me had one side of the shoulders slide off towards one side of my body since the cut was a bit lower. 

"I'm going to head back to my room to dress up. Meet you down at the mess hall." I said as I walked past him and quickly went towards his door.

"Y/N." Levi called out as I grabbed onto the door knob. I simply look back at him waiting for his reply. He stood shifting his weight on his left leg as he held a cup of tea with his left land.

"Cover your bra strap." Levi reminded and I quickly look down at my shoulder. The shirt had fallen down below my shoulder and my bra strap was showing underneath. A light pink hue sprinkled across my cheeks before I quickly grabbed the sleeve and tugged it up so it would fully cover my shoulder.

"Thanks. See you in a bit." I quickly calmed down and gave Levi a small smile before I exited the room and made my way down the halls towards my own.

Through the windows, I could clearly see that the sun hadn't risen yet and the hallways and floors of the base were dark and cold as I trekked barefoot down the halls. There weren't many soldiers or anyone else up at this time so no one saw me at all. I quickly made my way towards my room without causing too much noise for others sleeping. In no time, I reached my room and entered.

I made my way towards my closet to find a new uniform to wear. I wasn't excited to leave the comfort of my clothes, but I had to get ready to leave to Wall Sina. Reluctantly, I slipped out of my comfortable clothes and changed into my uniform before also wrapping the straps and belts around my knees and chest and securing them. Over the years I've gotten a lot faster at putting on this damn uniform. I remember back in the underground when Isabel and I used to yell and nag at each other about how long either of us took to dress up since we usually got the straps all mixed up and in the wrong places. A small smile lifted on my lips for a second before it fell and a look of sorrow came over my features. I let out a sigh as I finished putting on my boots and readjusted them a bit so they felt comfortable on my legs.

"Time to head to the mess hall." I whispered to myself as I stood back up straight and stretched out my back a little. Was I getting that old? I was only 26.

As I walked through the halls I could still see that the sun hadn't risen at all and the corridors were still dark and cold and the only sound the filled the halls were my heavy footsteps from the boots that we had to wear. It was chilly and I felt goosebumps ride up my arms underneath my clothing and I instinctively crossed my arms over my chest.

As I reached the entrance mess hall I quickly reached out for the door knob and entered. There were only 4 soldiers awake at this time that were silently sitting on the tables of the mess hall. They most likely couldn't sleep, so I didn't want to bother them by ordering them back to their rooms. I drew my gaze away and looked around the mess hall again before spotting Levi in the kitchen. I watched as he gracefully poured two cups of tea from the kettle. I quickly made my way towards him.
