But before I could even see it fall, I felt my vision waver, falling side to side as if could feel the world spinning somehow. I quickly tried to catch myself, sticking my blade into the branch of the tree to help balance me, however, as I felt my lids go heavy, I began losing feeling in my hands, causing my to let go of my handle, falling backwards off from the tree. After that, everything went black.

~~~
I awoke, the sunlight breaking through my lids causing me a slight bit of irritation. I tried to lift my arm to shield my eyes from the sun, however, my arms felt heavy and it hurt to move my body. A small groan left my mouth as I finally fluttered my lids open, meeting a blue sky. The brightness of the sky alone caused my head to spin, and I slowly shut my eyes again, trying to relieve my headache. As soon as I felt a small breeze wash over my body, I knew exactly where I was...we were still here--on top of Wall Rose.
"Oh--Heichou!" Armin quietly called out for me. I carefully lifted myself, using my arms as as platform to help lift my torso up from the uncomfortable ground. As I did, a stabbing pain quickly spread through the right side of my body. I silently suffering through the pain stabbing my in the side of my torso, slightly holding my breath as I pursed my lips tightly. I guess I obtained that after falling off of that tree, damn.
"Hey Armin." I replied after sitting up straight, my voice weak and barely audible. I tilted my head in his direction, spotting him quickly turn around, rummaging through a bag that he had adjacent to him.
"Here." Armin said, offering me a pouch of water. I lowered my sight to it, taking it from his hands delicately. As the bottle fell into my hands perfectly, I was quick to notice how heavy it was, however, before addressing it, I screwed the lid off and waterfalling only a quarter of the water. Although it didn't quite relieve my thirst, I didn't want to take too much from him.
"Here, drink." I stated, handing the pouch back towards him. Armin quickly shot me a confused stare, wondering why I didn't drink all of the water.
"You were the closest one to Bertholdt when he let out that cloud of steam. When Sasha was tending to your injuries, your burns were the worst looking out of everyone's. Not to mention, your voice still doesn't sound much better than before. I'm surprised you even woke up and are moving around." Armin pointed out, trying to deny my offer by using my injuries as a reason to why I should drink all of the water.
"Don't use my injuries as an excuse to not take care of yourself. I don't know how long I have been out, whether it be a few hours or over half a day, but when you handed me this pouch it was still full to the brim. I want you to eat, drink, take care of yourself. We'll need your strength, Armin." I reassured, reaching out and carefully grabbing Armin's hand before placing the pouch of water in it. As I looked back up at his face, I could see his eyes full of gloss, tears brimming his eyes. He quickly looked away, turning his face downwards towards the pouch, clutching his hand over it.
"Hai!" He responded, unwilling to look up at me. He was cute, almost like that of a small kid that needed protection from the outside world. A small smile tugged at the corners of my lips, he was someone that I definitely wanted to protect.
I turned away drawing my gaze to my ankle. Multiple blood-stained bandages were wrapped around it and even from looking at it, I felt as I could see the cut straight through the fabric. It almost disgusted me. Taking a deep breath, I closed my eyes turning my gaze the right. There I spotted everyone else, laying on the hard floor of the top of the walls. They were all still asleep, slight burns covering parts of their face as their chests heaved up and down normally.
