The Chaos could just get her legs out before she hit the ice floor unscathed. "Lie like a string." Cece rubbed the snow out of her face. "Aha... If that were the case, we would not be stuck here now!" Cece staggered to the bow and sat down on the edge. Zak followed her. "Okay, Cece, I'm sorry... I made a mistake and I'm going to get it right and look for a portal." Determined, Zak wanted to go off the board when Caramba stopped him. "You want to go? In this cold? And that alone?" "I don't want my mistakes to put you in danger."
With these words he turned around, but he had hardly set a foot off the ship, when he grabbed his head. He heard a weak voice, but pervasive. "Zak... Come to me! I'm waiting for you!" Zak staggered and pinched his eyes in pain. His breathing became heavier and he supported himself on the Chaos. "Zak! What's going on?" asked Caramba, looking at Zak forcefully. "I heard a voice saying 'I await' or something like that, but it sounded so familiar." "It would be better if you stay here," Cece said. Zak shook his head defiantly. "The fish girl is right, lad," Calabrass said. "You are not in the constitution to go alone and unprepared into the depths of Sino." Zak pondered and withdrew without a word. "Sturer Bock," Cece muttered.
Zak's Point of View
Insulted, I sat in the chair. How should I make up for my mistakes if no one would let me? But I'm the Captain, and I could just go... But only when everyone was asleep.
At Night
I sneaked out of the cabin and just went to leave when Calabrass got involved again. "Think carefully about what you're doing! Don't you want to listen to the advice of your friends? A Captain is only as good as his team..." "Yes, of course, but I have to bend it straight again somehow." I wouldn't wait for another comment from Calabrass. I left the Chaos and staggered through Sino's ice.
The deeper the night fell, the more drastically the temperature dropped. I barely felt my hands. I asked for Blazz's Eye, so I could at least keep myself a little warm. "Calabrass, I know it's bad to waste energy, but I encourage you to trust me." Calabrass looked at me sceptically, but said nothing. I stopped for a moment and suddenly felt freezing winds. "Please not that..." In fact, a massive snowstorm was brewing. With my last strength, I asked Calabrass for the Eye of Sino to build me a temporary protective cave. "Just a bit more, buddy. We'll get it right away." "If you keep shaking like that, you're more likely to build a zigzag statue." I didn't hear that anymore, because the cave was finally finished, before Calabrass ran out of juice. I breathed slowly and shortly afterwards, I left my strength and dropped Calabrass out of my hand.
