Calabrass remained silent, and received expectant glances from everyone. "You know exactly what this page means, don't you?" Still no reaction. "If you keep secrets from us, it usually gets us into trouble. I just remember Torg," Zak kept trying. "Ok, already! Yes, I know the page! And also from which book it comes..." Calabrass gave in.

"It comes from the Book of the Sirens. A magical artefact, you can ask anything and it reveals the answers to you. Family secrets, the future..." "Why didn't you tell us that before?" asked Ria, slightly offended. "The book can be very dangerous, and I gave the Sirens my word of honour, that I will not reveal its location. It is often given to the goblins for protection. Cece must have scared him." Zak looked at Ria briefly, and changed his gaze back to Calabrass. "Can this thing also tell me how to defeat Skullivar?" "The Sirens have to decide for themselves. Their last known location was in Beru. Unfortunately, that's all I can say." Zak entered a new destination and assigned Cece to look for caves or something similar.

While Zak went to the helm, Calabrass stared at the sea. "Calabrass, I really trust you, but if you have secrets, I can't trust you anymore." Calabrass did not answer.

Zak's Point of View

I didn't like Calabrass's suspicious behaviour, and I felt there had to be more to this thing. Suddenly, I heard a voice in my head. I could not recognise it, but it sounded cold, dark and frightening. "Storm!" Energetically, my mind tried to defend itself against it. "Get out of my head!" For a time, the strange voice disappeared. It was different from Ria's. A disturbing feeling...

Calabrass stared at Zak in confusion. "What is it? You don't seem to be thinking clearly." "I thought I had heard something... maybe I was wrong," Zak replied, slightly worried, and concentrated again on the sea.

"Zak! I found a cave, we could maybe have a look around there." Zak stopped the Chaos and gathered his crew. "Okay, well, it's not confirmed if we're right, but it's worth a try."

They disembarked when Ria curiously asked, "What exactly are the Sirens?" "The Sirens are also a sea civilisation and ancient allies of the Atlanteans. They look like mermaids, but can also take on a more human form. Sirens are great artists and have an answer to pretty much everything, or at least, their book does," Cece explained. "But wouldn't it be smarter to bring the book back to them?" asked Caramba. "It would look like we stole it, and as hospitable as they may be, they abhor the bad-mouthing of their traditions. I once experienced the wrath of the Sirens, and that will always remain in my memory," Calabrass commented on the question. "Is this their cave?" Cece asked back. It was getting darker and darker, and you couldn't see your hand in front of your eyes anymore. "Calabrass! Eye of Blazz!" When the cave was enlightened, they almost got a heart attack.
