Fear is the Greatest Enemy

"Zak, now that you are alive again, there is hope for the triangle again. You can defeat Skullivar now," Ria said resolutely. Zak then turned away from her. "Zak?" "It's a pretty big responsibility. I'm afraid that Skullivar will take control again." Ria looked at her brother reassuringly. "You are not alone. We will support you, and whatever comes, we are there for you." Zak smiled at his sister. 

While Ria was trying to calm Zak, Calabrass had suddenly turned backwards. "Did you hear that too?" The others now turned around as well. "Somehow I can't get rid of this strange feeling that we've forgotten something," said Cece. Then Skullivar stood in front of them and laughed mischievously. "Oh yes, that's right, we forgot the Cucumber Face..." replied Ria. 

They got ready to fight and Ria fired the first shot, which he repelled with ease. Then he spotted Zak in the corner of his eye. "What?! Zak Storm??? How is this possible? You were dead!" "You're not the only one who can handle magic!" Ria hissed and nodded to Zak. "Calabrass, give me the Eye of Dezer!" When Zak hit Calabrass on the ground, the pressure wave threw Skullivar back. "You dare?! I'm going to make you pay!" "Zak, why don't you use your powers. They are more effective than mine alone," Calabrass asked. "I don't know. I don't feel like I'm ready to use them against Skullivar yet." 

When Ria made to come to her brother's aid, Bones suddenly blocked her way. "You can't pass by here!" "Guardian of Nature! Give me your strength!" Ria touched the ground with her hand and let tendrils sprout from the ground holding Bones in the roots. With a grin, she walked past him. "That's how I like you... much better!" "Argh! I'll get you, Storm!" Ria hadn't heard that anymore. 

Zak was just taking a step back against Skullivar's shots, and Calabrass realised that it was not going to be a real fight. "Zak! You have to attack! Otherwise Skullivar will think you are weak!" "I'm scared!" said Zak meekly. Skullivar came closer and closer to Zak. "You can't win against me!" When he took down the shield, Skullivar looked at him instantly and tried to regain control. Zak held his aching head, but this time, he wanted to fight against it. "Not this time!" 

His eyes turned white, and from his hands, he threw out such a strong wave of energy that the windows burst and the floor slightly cracked. After that, Zak fell to his knees. 

"Well, that's what I call an attack!" said Calabrass with satisfaction. Zak rallied and went on the attack again. "Calabrass! The Eye of Aeria!" Zak gave Skullivar a blow with the axe, but when he was about to shoot again, Calabrass went on strike. "You can defend yourself without me," he said, transforming Zak back. "Hey Calabrass, what's your deal?"
