Zak's Point of View
I didn't say a word and only breathed stagnantly. My sister's screams passed me by muffled. I felt a stabbing pain in my abdomen, the blade continued to push deep into the pit of my stomach. I held on to the sword, looked at my hands, soaked in blood. I trembled all over my body. I looked at Skullivar. His ice-cold eyes, that's exactly how he had looked at me for the first time. He pulled the sword out of my body and I heard blood dripping. I staggered, and did not have my legs under control. I sank to the ground. My skin felt cold, my eyesight diminished, images became more and more blurred and blurry. I felt Cece's hand and saw how she looked at me. Mortal fear.
Ria's Point of View
I was frozen. My body had shut down. I noticed how my whole body began to tremble. I approached Zak and knelt down to him. I took his head in my arms. He looked at me, with his sea blue eyes, which radiated so much love and yet so much fear. Tears ran down my cheeks. I was startled when I felt his hand on my cheek. I pressed it to me. I didn't make a sound.
Z: "Ria please don't... not here!"
R: "I can't let you go!"
Z: "I am sorry for what I have done to you, sincerely sorry."
R: "No, no, no, you don't have to. I made a mistake."
Z: "I made up for it. Please just do me a favour... Please take good care of everyone..."
R: "I promise you..."

Calabrass stared at Zak, and didn't say a word to anyone, remaining silent like everyone else.
Z: "Calabrass, please forgive me... about what happened in Vajestrella."
C: "You don't have to apologise, I should be the one. I just didn't want to lose you, Captain."
Z: "You are a faithful friend Calabrass. I really appreciated that."
Zak looked over at Cece who had turned her gaze away and cried. Zak took Cece's hand.
Z: "Don't be soft, Cece. You have a strong will. A character that often made me think."
C: "I don't want it to end like this! Not here!"
Z: "You can't influence fate, but it's an honour for me to have fought side by side with you."
Zak smiled at Cece and coughed, rolling his eyes. His gaze wandered back to his sister.
Z: "At least I'll see Mum again."
R: "Please, I can't let you die."
Z: "You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I'm really glad to have found you."
R: "I always hoped that we would find each other, but I was always afraid that one day it would end like this."
Z: "I may not have been able to do my duty, but I can say goodbye with a clear conscience."
Ria could no longer hold back her tears. Her eyes turned red and she noticed that his breath was getting flatter. "But there's one more thing I want to tell you, Charlotte Eleriah Storm: I love you!" "I love you too, little brother, forever," Ria breathed back. Those were Zak's last words. Ria let go of his hand, as he took his last breath. He closed his eyes, saw his sister for the last time. After that, they slowly closed, forever.
Ria took her brother's lifeless body in her arms and buried her head in Zak's chest. She cried, mourned. Her friends knelt next to her and cried as well, an indescribable pain penetrated her body. "Farewell, Captain, it was a privilege to be by your side," Caramba whispered. "You will always be in my heart, for all time."
