They returned to Vajestrella, where the Sirens and the Sunbirds were eagerly awaiting their arrival. The snake guard informed Queen Luna. She stormed out of her throne room and came to meet her friends. She looked around for Zak, and approached Ria. Expectantly, she waited for a reaction. But when she looked at Ria, she immediately knew that something was wrong. Ria rummaged sadly in her trouser pocket and pulled out a small carved pendant. "That's the only thing left of Zak." Shocked, Luna looked up. "He didn't make it?" Ria shook her head. "He... sacrificed himself to save me." Luna couldn't find words. She had lost her nephew, as had her sister. "Oh Ria, I'm so infinitely sorry." Ria, crying, buried her head in Luna's arms.
Chuka lowered his head. Skullivar had won. "Ria, we truly deeply regret Zak's loss. He did not deserve such a death." She fell into Chuka's plumage. "What's going to happen now?" she asked herself. "I don't know, really." Ria stepped back and the crew went to set off again.
"Wait..." Luna shouted, and Ria turned around. Luna pressed a small piece of paper into her hand. "What is it?" "Maybe you'll find the answers you're looking for in this place." She put it in her pocket. Luna smiled slightly after them until the large wing gate closed.

"Are we going back to Marituga?" asked Clovis. Cece nodded. On the Chaos there was silence, eternal silence. Even the ship seemed to make a very depressed impression.
After not so long, Marituga came into view. They anchored at the harbour where a small crowd was waiting for the crew. When Ria looked at the crowd, she remained silent. They guessed what had happened...
"Today we want to honour the one who defended Marituga to the end, stood up for his crew, who showed no fear in the fight against Bones. But today... Zak Storm proved how much wisdom he had when he sacrificed himself for his sister...
Let us let this day go down in history as 'The Day of Heroes' and always remember... what it means... to prove selflessness."
All of Marituga stood at the docks. Everyone was holding a small candle in their hands, as the sun slowly sank on the horizon. After the head of the island had given his speech, Ria and her friends stepped forward and sent a sky lantern into the air together. Gradually, the inhabitants followed, and soon the sky was littered with lanterns. Ria put on a small smile and realised that she still had the piece of paper. Cece joined her.
"Zak would certainly be proud of you... that you carry on so bravely." She noticed the paper. "What is that?" "No idea. Luna said I will find answers here." "Well, then, we'll set off," Cece said playfully. "The problem is only to which question will I find the answer."
