For an eternity, Ria stood on the shore and did not move. What if her mother told the truth? "No! She's just trying to wrap me around her finger!" thought Ria. She shook her head vigorously and looked for a suitable place to get into the fortress unnoticed. No one would be able to stop her from her plan.
On the Chaos
"How could I be so stupid? She's going to kill herself!" Cece blamed herself as she clutched the rudder more tightly. "What kind of friend am I?!" "Well... apparently a bad one..." Clovis murmured. Cece turned around and gave Clovis a poisonous look. "And I'd rather be quiet now..."
Caramba tinkered with the engines. "Don't worry, Ria always knows what she's doing." "Yes, that's where the problem lies!"
In the fortress
Ria had discovered a ventilation shaft into which she squeezed in and looked through the grid into a corridor. There were two guards talking.
S1: "Do you actually understand the boss?"
S2: "Why?"
S1: "He was talking about such a weird weapon. But for that, he needs a strange stone and Calabrass."
S2: "Let's not get involved, we won't understand it anyway..."
Unfortunately, Ria did not get more of the conversation. She continued to lean forward. "A weapon?" Suddenly, a voice filled the room: "To the Battle Stations! Come on!" It was Bones. Ria quickly disappeared from the grid. Right underneath, Bones stopped. "Something is off here..." Luckily, Bones moved on and Ria breathed a sigh of relief.
More guards ran through the corridors. "A ship was seen in Sector 2! Hurry up, they'll attack us!" Ria gasped. No one with a sound mind would voluntarily show up here... well, she was here, but she knew someone else...

Skullivar looked out the window and saw the Chaos driving up to the fortress. "Bones, send out the search boats and encircle them!" "Of course, Master," Bones replied.

Meanwhile, Ria had climbed out of the shaft and hid in a small storage room. Slowly, she was no longer sure if this was a good idea. "Ria!" She turned around because she thought someone was standing there and had called for her. "Ria!" Searching, she looked around. The voice called her again and slowly Ria recognised the owner. "Zak?! Is that you?"
In front of Ria, plumes of smoke formed and she could recognise her brother.
Z: "Well, that took a long time..."
R: "It's you... but how?"
Z: "I have undreamt-of-talents..."
R: "You can't imagine how much I miss you..."
Ria wanted to touch Zak, but reached into the void.
Z: "I miss you too... but Ria, you have to get out of here."
R: "No! Skullivar must finally be destroyed!"
Z: "You can't do that... not alone... listen to my advice and disappear..."
R: "Skullivar is to blame for me losing you and for that he should be punished!"
Z: "You know as well as I do that Skullivar is invincible at the moment. And by revenge, you will achieve nothing..."
Zak faded more and more. "Please... follow my advice and let it be good!" After that, Zak was completely gone. "No! Zak, come back, please. Don't leave me!"
