Cece remained silent - even in this situation, she was perplexed. "No, I don't have one, Caramba." Sadly, she walked out to the sea. In such a situation, Ria would surely have found a way out. How could they be allowed to come back? Last time, the crystal was destroyed and Zak brought Crogar back with words. But would that work with Ria? She was more powerful than Crogar... Cece would prefer to sink into the ground. But suddenly, she had a dazzling idea...

At the Mermaid's Lair

She looked at Ria's amulet. "Hmm... It's powerful indeed, and if her friends cross here, they can get ready for something." Ria was still staring into the void, but her spirit was trying to fight back. Her eyes briefly turned sea blue again, without this beast noticing. With her own consciousness, Ria slowly tried to sneak to the mermaid, but once again, she was faster. "Are we starting a mutiny?" Ria tried again to defend herself against her control. "It's stronger than I thought..."

Quietly and close together, the team made their way towards the lair. Caramba stopped after robot zombies, but gave the all-clear. "Well, we just have to get Ria in touch with Calabrass and then..." "Then... what?" asked Caramba. "Honestly, I don't know, but let's hope for the best," Cece replied, embarrassed. Calabrass looked at the Atlantean princess strictly. "I can't promise you that this will bring anything, but we need these scales."

The small group showed themselves to the mermaid. "Ah... I was expecting you." She gave Ria her amulet. "Attack them!" Without hesitation, Ria went on the attack. They were still able to dodge their blows. "Cece - time to put your plan into action!" "Please let it work!" said Cece quietly, throwing Calabrass in Ria's direction. She skillfully caught Calabrass. "You fools, you amplify my power." Cece grinned. "That's the goal." Ria activated her amulet and Calabrass, one eye. She approached Cece and took a hit, but she stumbled. Cece's plan actually had an effect: the great power messed up Ria. The mermaid lost more and more control over her, and a fog left Ria's body.

Everyone was waiting for a reaction. "What are you waiting for?! Attack them!" "Nothing will come of it!" cried Ria, turning around. "Yes, it actually worked!" cried Cece enthusiastically. Ria looked at Calabrass. "What do you think? Let's mix up the shop!" "That's where I am!" Ria ran towards the mermaid, who was desperately trying her hypnosis, but Ria was smarter this time. She let Calabrass lead her and trusted her hearing. At last, she was close enough to her to rip a scale from her body. "I have it! Let's go!"

During their escape, Clovis panicked by radio. "I hope it's important, I'm a bit busy right now!" "I think your time span has shrunk!" he exclaimed excitedly. "What do you mean?" "His pulse and breathing are at a low point!" Ria stopped. "What is the point of this? Run!" screamed Calabrass. Through his voice, Ria awoke from her short trance. "What's going on?" "It was Clovis. The disease reached its last stage before..." "Before what?" asked Caramba, horrified. "Before the person dies. Zak gives up, and the disease spreads too quickly that we can't do anything. We have a window of perhaps 1 hour, and we also have to go to Marituga!" They had reached the Chaos, and Ria was at full throttle when she suddenly stopped. "No, don't come now!"
