Ria stood in place as if rooted. She couldn't. She could not attack. Zak rushed towards her, but missed when Cece got between them. Ria moved away. "Ria! You have to defend yourself!" shouted Cece, almost screaming. It took Ria a while to get clear thoughts again. She reached for Calabrass and put on a fighting posture. "You don't want to fight your own brother?" asked Caramba in horror. "I don't want it to be true, but I have to. He is no longer himself, Skullivar is in complete control."

Again, Zak pulled away and striked again. "Will you stop?" he shouted at her. She did not fight, but only defended herself. "As Master Skullivar said: You are weak, Charlotte Eleriah Storm!" Ria just fended off Zak's blade, as Skullivar followed the fight with a mischievous grin. Zak pushed Ria further into the corner and she struggled to keep the sword away from her. Before Zak could strike, she leaped out of the way. "It's never going to do anything if you keep doing that! You have to fight back!" cried Calabrass. "But I can't!" "You can only do something against him if you fight back!"

Ria hesitated, but clutched her amulet. "Guardian of the Ice! Give me your strength!" She shot flashes of ice from her hand, which Zak skillfully dodged. Amused, he shook his head. "Is that all you can do?" Ria fired again and Zak stretched out his hand and simply caught her shot. Dazed, Ria stopped. "What?!" Zak put his hands close together and a lightning bolt was formed, which he immediately fired. "Aeria, Lightning Strike!" Ria and her friends were thrown back, but Ria would not give up yet. A little shaky, she got up again. Zak shot again. "Sino, Ice Rigidity!" Ria jumped in front of Cece and the others and spread her hands. "Flame Shield!" She was able to fend off the attack, but she was at the end of her powers. "I'm sorry, I can't come up against him like that."

Then Gia got in touch. "Ria, we can no longer fend them off! We have to withdraw!" Ria needed a plan. "Well, make sure you get away from there!" Ria looked at Zak darkly. She knew she couldn't keep up with her brother's powers. "Calabrass, we need a plan!" "Hey, don't look at me, I'm not the boss here!" Zak held a fireball in his hand. "It's a pity that it has to end like this! That was hardly fun." Zak came dangerously close to them. "You know, you were an honourable opponent, but compared to my power, you're weak. Farewell!" Zak shot out, Ria quickly activated the power of Dezer and a small sandstorm flew in Zak's face, who then staggered. The others ran to the exit. "Ria, now, come!" She did not move. "We can't win today!" Bones, Zak and the skeletons were getting closer and closer. Now Ria also retreated. "The laughter will pass you by, Boneface!"
