Zak's Point of View

I carefully opened my eyes, just a crack wide. In front of me, I recognised Bones talking to Skullivar. I couldn't quite understand what they were saying - everything around me sounded dull and deep. My legs were on strike with getting up, so I couldn't stand, but to be honest, I didn't want to at all. Skullivar had drained me quite a bit.

Bones had turned to me and looked down on me. "If only you knew..." Even raising my head was very exhausting, but I glanced up and looked Bones in the eye. But I didn't bring out any sound. "Leave him here!" he ordered his skeletons. I didn't care about what was coming - I knew it was my end. "Your friends are very brave, you have to hand that to them, but do you know who you owe it to that you are here? Your sister!" He was quite obviously lying, wasn't he? "Your sister saved her friends and let us go!" I thought hard as I interrogated myself. No, that was a lie.

Bones grabbed me by the collar. "Now that no one can help you anymore, Skullivar will obtain all the power..." I didn't fight back. "And you will help him with that..." "No... you can confidently... forget that, you Stockfish." Bones looked at me darkly. "You'll see what Skullivar will do to you! And until then, I want to know more about your powers." Bones let me go. "I'm not going to tell you anything." Bones rolled his eyes. "Always the same old lyre. In the end, I'll get you to talk." I lowered my head and Bones called for two of his skeletons. "Take him away, he can think for a long time." The two soldiers grabbed my arms and dragged me out of the control room. Rudely, the door behind me was closed. Was Ria really responsible for this mess or was Bones just trying to intimidate me again?

As if on cue, he was now standing in front of me again, grinning mischievously. "I would have left you as Shark bait long ago, but Skullivar still needs you for his purposes." I had to swallow this sentence. When Bones emphasised something so strongly, it usually didn't mean anything good, and by nothing good, I meant catastrophic.

He dragged me into a smaller room and put chains around my wrists. "Don't even try, your powers won't help you here anymore." A soldier handed him a staff, the top of which was loaded with electricity. "What did the Sunbirds tell you?" I was silent. Shortly after, I felt the current flowing through my body. After Bones let go of me, I let my head hang. Again he rammed the rod to my chest. "I'm not going to reveal anything!" "Wrong answer!" Over and over again, the electricity ran through my veins, and I hoped to be released from this torment at some point. My body went limp. I rolled my eyes and collapsed.
