The explosion also reached as far as Vajestrella and the parallel world. The sunbirds looked up as they truly saw the energy behind it. "He did it!" Chuka shouted to his friends. 

Luna also nodded contentedly when the energy beam reached her. "I'm proud of you, Zak," she whispered happily. 

The people of Marituga were also beside themselves with joy. They started cheering at the jetties. Flint grinned and looked at the colourful beam that spread through the sky throughout the triangle.

Zak's Point of View

I held Calabrass in my hands. The light went out and... Skullivar was gone. Simply gone, and the skeletons and Bones were also missing without a trace. I swallowed until Calabrass turned his head to me. "Zak! You did it!" I hadn't really grasped the situation yet. I turned around and Ria came running towards me. "You did it! Skullivar is finally history!" She hugged me and I smiled a little. After that, she looked at me and was close to tears. "My little brother has just made the Lord of Darkness run." "What about Bones and his entourage?" I asked cautiously. "The scale of your attack was so strong that not only Skullivar, but also his entire armada, including Bones, was destroyed." I stared at her in disbelief. "So it's over? Definitely?" Ria nodded excitedly. 

I took the chain off my neck and returned it to my sister. "Here, I think this is yours." Without saying anything, I hugged her. "Thank you for everything you have done for me," I whispered in her ear. She grinned.

"And what about us?" asked Cece, playfully insulted. Zak approached her and kissed her on the cheek. She didn't respond at all. "I wouldn't stand here and have won today without my loyal crew who also put up with every stupid plan I come up with," Zak said with a laugh. "You are really the best people." Cece, Ria and Zak took each other in their arms when Crogar came along and Caramba pushed in between. "Group hug!" said Crogar happily as he picked up his friends. As they slowly broke away, the ghost of Chronos and Zak's mother appeared. 

C: "Conrad Zachery Storm. You proved today that you were worthy to be the Chosen One and to use the power you carry within you. You have fulfilled the prophecy and now peace can reign again in the triangle." 

Z: "Thank you, Chronos, for trusting me, no matter what." 

C: "Now to you, Charlotte Eleriah Storm: I would like to express my personal thanks for showing Zak what true strength is and for doing everything in your power to help him." 

Zak swallowed when he saw his mother. Ria took his hand and they both walked towards her. 

R: "Mum, I think someone here is happy to see you." 

J: "My little boy, how glad I am to finally see you again." 

Z: "But-... how? After all these years..." 

J: "You were so small when I left." 

Z: "I had never dared to dream that I would see you again now..." 

Jeira took her son in her arms. "If your father could see you now... He would be just as proud as I am." 

Zak and Ria smiled as the ghosts slowly disappeared. "Come on, let's go back to the Chaos. We still have to tell Clovis what he missed."
