Do you ever get the feeling
Somewhere deep down inside of yourself
When you've met someone and truly seen their soul
After you've bonded
That you still share a tether to the other
flashes in your vision
seeing their face in a crowd
feeling their presence
you feel tied

I wonder, old friend
If you feel the tugging line
For old times sake

Selfishly,
I like to tell myself you do
Even though
The chances are slim

Maybe I'm a dreamer
Or
Maybe I'm really stupid

Regardless, I've thought worse things
