This is it.

The day I'm facing the Black Dragon. I tried to see Chancellor Barnabee before this day but they said he has an important thing to do. He shouldn't be disturb, so maybe I'll see him after this agenda.

I am wandering in the forest to the waterfall and I know Rino will show himself any minute now. Lucas insist that he will watch from above, so he's probably up there. While the others are hiding somewhere. With Veenece's help, they managed to conceal their presence.

I just hope this plan will succeed. Or everything will be worst. Plus the longer this will take, the lesser the chances of saving Rino.

I heard the crushing of the dry leaves  coming closer. Not so long, Rino appeared behind the trees with his flaring red eyes.

"My, my, look who's here! The Gryphon Warrior. You have the guts to come to me because you've broken my spell but look, still, your just an ordinary human. Your Spirit Guardian is still too weak to aid you."

"I come to make a deal."

In a swift moment, he was in front of me seizing my neck. My hands tried to jerk off his grip but it tightens and my air way becomes narrower.

"You think you can fool me? Stupid wench! You really want me to believe that you came here without a plan!"

I gasp for air as I try to speak but I only choke. I look straight in his eyes to meet his evil gaze. He loosen his grip and I instantly filled my lungs with air.

"I only want this to stop. Since you only want me, you can leave them alone. I don't want them to be drag in this mess."

His eyes shifted to like the cat's eyes. I did not shiver to show him I'm serious. He let go of a deep breath and it stings on my skin upon contact. This is the Black Dragon!

"I can feel the sword on you! It's power!" He leans his face closer to me. "Don't you ever dare to fool me stupid Guardian Warrior or I will eat all of them that you protect."

"That is why I'm here surrendering myself. For them."

His eyes shifted to red and brown. Then he let go of my neck and he falls down. He smack his head on the ground and I can hear Rino's desperate voice.

"No, Auryn- go- kill-all-"

"Rino just hang on I will save you!"

I knelt in front of him and place my hands on his shoulders. He suddenly stops and grab both of my hand. He harshly pulled me up and drag me to the waterfall.

"Fool human! No one defies the Black Dragon!" He squint to me. "And you ignorant Warrior you will regret saving this little useless human!"

I look up, shaking my head. I just hope Lucas will get my signal not to do anything. This is part of our plan. We will let the Black Dragon do what he wants to assure him that everything is going to his liking.

Of course, they all disapproved of it but I can protect myself. It is time for them to realize that I am more than what they see. My struggles made me this strong and of course, I know that Phearo will have my back if anything go haywire.
